Everyone at Greenbank Sports Academy sends their best wishes to abdi jama as he represents Great Britain at the Ottawa 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships.

We are incredibly proud to support Abdi with his training at Greenbank and look forward to cheering him and the GB men’s team on throughout the championships.

❤️ Know Your Numbers! Week ❤️

Greenbank is proud to support the campaign encouraging people across Liverpool to get their blood pressure checked.

High blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms, but it can increase the risk of serious health conditions. A simple check takes only a few minutes and could provide important information about your health.

We are pleased to have trained Community Blood Pressure Champions among our Greenbank staff, helping to raise awareness and provide free blood pressure checks within our community.

Good luck to Greenbank Sports Academy athlete ambassador Joel Murphy who is competing in the Boccia England national championship finals today. 🔵🔴 Joel is coach of Greenbank Giants Boccia Club 2022 which trains twice per week at the Academy.

Why not come along on Wednesdays 1-3pm to the Boccia community session if you would like to meet Joel and have a go yourself!.

We're delighted to announce the National Championship Finalists for BC5–BC8 following an exciting and well-contested qualifying period.

Over the past four months, 110 athletes from across England have competed across five qualifying events, earning qualifying points in pursuit of a place at September's National Championship Finals.
