Wavertree Cricket Club

Wavertree Cricket Club Wavertree continue to play at the famous Sandown Lane ground at which the club was founded in 1854. We welcome all juniors and seniors!

The club is proud of its heritage and its commitment to upholding principles of honesty, integrity and fair play. Wavertree Cricket club is a family club where we welcome cricketers of all ages. We have a very active junior sections with teams ranging from:

Under 9's
Under 11's
Under 13's
Under 15's
Under 18's

We even have more than one team at various age groups due to the high volume of member

s we have. We have a very active senior section with 3 teams that play competitively every Saturday in the Liverpool and District League throughout the summer and also a team that plays on a Sunday. The club is open every Monday and Friday for junior practise and every Thursday for Senior practice. Saturdays and Sundays we have games on at the club and members are all welcome to come down and support the club. Finally our weekly club night is every Thursday whereby the club is open every week throughout the year.

The long shadows of autumn can hide the blossoming of years and years of investment from club volunteers in women and girls cricket. Over 70 women and girls at tonight's end of season social and cellebration. Irish Bingo proved a supprising success. HUGE thank you to all the volunteers.
