Bootle Mapleleaf ABC Bootle AIBA Boxing Club. Bootle boxing club was established in November 2009.

The club was openened to offer boxing at all levels be it for fitness based training, through to those who want to commpete at the highest level. The club had its first competitive bout in Novemebr 2010 with 11 year old Patrick Rowan winning the clubs debut contest, since then the club has went on to be represented by our members over 500 times in competition. We are based in the back of the Boot

le free church on the corner of University & Trinity road. Bootle ABC provides coaching for all ages on a one to one basis (by arrangement) or group classes (by arrangement) or through our timetabled classes where there's always a friendly atmosphere with beginners and highly trained boxers training along side each other day in day out, with a real family atmoshere with more experienced boxers along with the coaches always approachable and able to offer advice & encouragement to those who need it. We are always open to new members, be it those who want to train, compete, get into coaching or even offer us help in more administritive roles. We lost a great friend and coach on Monday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.

Death ends a life, but can't end a relationship. He will forever be in our hearts and always in our corner.

What an incredible show last night! 🥊

A huge well done to everyone involved in making the event such a success — from the organisers and coaches to all the volunteers who worked behind the scenes.

Most importantly, massive credit to the young local boxers who stepped into the ring and gave it their all. The dedication, discipline, and talent on display shows just how strong grassroots boxing is in our community. These kids are a real credit to themselves, their families, and their club.

Events like this highlight how important boxing clubs are for giving young people focus, confidence, and positive opportunities.
