Tis the season to not be a sheep 🐑
Seperate yourself in pre season with these factors ⤵️
- Be specific to your position
Don’t just run generic 5k’s: Work on your positional speed, power and conditioning
- Profile to analyse and monitor off season changes
It’s the freshest you’re going to be, so let’s analyse your speed, power and strength to give us insight into what you’re capable of
- Train like an athlete, NOT a bodybuilder (apart from some uppers and arms ahead of your holiday, fill them sleeves).
High volume / low weights are useless. Maximise this time of year to increase your strength and power. Keep volume low but intensity high.
- Make sure you sprint!
Not sprinting for 6 weeks then returning to pre season has disaster written all over it.
