Old Xaverians CC

Old Xaverians CC Based at St Francis Xavier's College. LDCC Division 1. New members welcome! We are a club with strong roots in South Liverpool, and are currently based at St.

Francis Xavier's College, Woolton. This provides us with an excellent foundation of young diverse members, on top of our strong relationship with other local schools; enabling us to field teams in all age groups - Under 9s, 11s, 13s, 15s and 18s in addition to our midweek and three weekend senior teams, and our Women and Girls team. We currently play in the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition

Division 1. We are a Clubmark accredited club which confirms our Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children whilst knowing our club and its Community and how to manage it effectively.

STCC 85 all out from 29.4 overs. Colin Gibson 5/16 & 5/42.

Huge achievement for Colin Gibson, getting his third 5 wicket haul of the season! 53 league wickets and the season isn’t even over 😮‍💨

The 2nd XI lost to Southport Trinity CC by 163 runs on Saturday. STCC declared at 219/3 from 45 overs. Our juniors S.Mahmood 1/26 & P.Turner 1/34 getting wickets. Xavs 56 all out from 21.5 overs. Danny Bowers 27.

The 1st XI beat Cheshire Lines Cricket Club by 38 runs on Saturday. Xavs declaring at 197/7 from 55 overs. 55 & Ian Carroll 36.
Cheshire Lines 159 all out from 46 overs. Colin Gibson 4/26 & 4/50.

Also on Saturday, the 2nd XI secured a win over Ainsdale Cricket Club by 128 runs. Xavs declaring strong at 261/3 from 38 overs. Joseph Lyons with a brilliant 148 runs & Kieran Grierson 50. Ainsdale 133 all out from 33.2 overs. Joseph Lyons 3/14 & L.Turner 2/5.

Our took part in the Women’s Softball Festival on Sunday. The team absolutely smashed it, winning the cup!🏆
