F.C. Bayern Maiden These Colours Don't Run. Since 2010... We Are A 5-A-Side football team from the great city of Liverpool.

We played for about 6 months as Roadrunner United before switching to Bayern Maiden... From there we have gone on to win trophies and play some great football! The first 'Maiden' stint took place in the Academy League system. We played 5 full seasons in total, winning our way to 2 promotions and both the Div 1 and Div 2 Titles. The Division 2 title campaign famously saw Bayern Maiden record 9 Wins

and just 1 loss... 8 of those wins coming back-to-back. We then took about a year out to focus on our personal lives and after the break, returned to action with an unbeaten 8 match run in the bottom division (Division 3) of the Student League system. With a 2nd place promotion achieved we stormed to the division 2 title the following season, losing only 2 games along the way. We took on the challenge of Division 1, only to be halted yet again by the need to take a break to deal personal commitments, plus the fact that our squad was effected by player availability. The following hiatus would last around 5 months before we decided to return and enter the Tuesday Student league. Our application was approved and we were placed in the lowest division (Div 3). We began our latest challenge with a 12 - 8 victory.

We are only a 5 a side team... But we love to play football and the idea of suddenly never being able to again, nor see our family or friends is just unthinkable. Today that is the reality for many of the Associação Chapecoense de Futebol team, who perished on their way to Columbia for potentially the match of their careers.

We pay respect to all those who lost their lives in this tragedy.

This past weekend F.C. Bayern Maiden were knocked out on penalties in the 1st round of the Download Football Tournament 2016. We are obviously gutted to have not gone further but proud to have participated for a 2nd year in a row.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are absolutely delighted to announce that F.C. Bayern Maiden will be once again entering the Cancer Research UK charity football tournament at Download Festival 2016!

We will be looking to raise as much cash as possible for charity and look forward to having a team represent us once more at the festival in June! Keep a lookout for further details on how to donate and show us your support on Thursday 9th June 2016 if you are at Download!
