Well on a wet and windy night , this amazing bunch of women turned up to train as a team, supporting and encouraging each other.

We have experienced players right through to players new to rugby.

We are recruiting and would love you to come and join us. If you have played since you were 4 or just wanting to start picking up a rugby ball, we have a place for you!

Thank you to these hardy folk that turned out for the LCRTL Touch League last night. We had a great time, why not come and join us next time.

We train on a Tuesday and Friday and whether you have played before or not you will be very welcome.

No training tonight or Friday due to half term and the annual fireworks event at the club.

Last night was the first game in this season’s LCRTL 2025. It was wet, but that did not dampen our spirts. 2 wins, 2 draws and a couple of loses, we think!

Our first wins in this league!

Great to see our friends the Otters and Tritons and meet some new teams too.

Can’t wait for next month for round 2!

Yeah ha, Touch rugby is back at the rugby club on a Friday. Comedown and join us for a runaround and a social catchup afterwards.

Well, it was a busy old Saturday as Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club took part in its first walking rugby tournament.

We had representatives from the M&Js, Coaches, the Women's section, Touch section, parents, someone new to rugby, and some old girls who relished pulling on the green shirt again. We also welcomed a ringer to the team in the form of Nick James, from Sale Sharks Women. Thank you, Nick can we book you for next year too? 🤣

We had so much fun that we're already talking about the shirt design for next year.

To add to that we won an opportunity for all of us to go and watch Sale Sharks play next season, and we then saw The Sale Sharks win on the big screen.

WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY

Thank you so much for the opportunity, making it a fun day and for welcoming us to Heywood Road. It was great to see some old friends and players of Firwood Waterloo too.

I love this time of year as we start to see new people join the touch rugby sessions. How else do you see so many different sections of the club playing together.

Three games running tonight, thank you to the other coaches for stepping up and helping with making sure that everyone had fun!

Tuesdays and Fridays at Litherland Sports Park starting at 7:30pm.

If you are planning on coming down please make sure to register on Spond so we can plan the amount of pitches we need.
