Strength training should be about loading movement patterns with great technique, making your body feel empowered, confident and amazing, both inside and outside the gym, Not The Opposite !!
Unfortunately, itโs common to associate training and adding more weight to the bar with aches/ pains
4 things to reflect on in case this is you;
Your technique. How you move should be your biggest priority, Always. The technique is the most important part of your training.
Training Volume. One word: per iodize!
Intensity, frequency and volume should be factored in making decisions for your training.
Too many sets, reps and too heavy loads week in - & out will make your body constantly fatigued.
Warm-up. Preparing your body to move well under the bar, mentally and physically!
Recovery and fatigue management is a non-negotiable part of your training.
Resting enough between your sets and training days in order to allow your body to build muscle, optimal progress and adaptation
