A little Morecrofts shout out... 💙

We've had a few conversations recently with people who've been interested in Sunday netball but haven't really known how to get involved, so I thought I'd put this out there!

We're looking for a few more players for our newest Division 5 team this season.

The Liverpool Sunday League runs really similarly to the midweek league, with lots of crossover in committee members and volunteers, so if you've played midweek before, it'll all feel pretty familiar.

For some people, Sunday netball can fit around life that little bit more easily, and for our lower division teams we also offer flexible training options because we know everyone's commitments look different.

As part of MNC you'll get your playing kit, access to coaching if you'd like it, and a great bunch of teammates to play alongside. Whether your goal is to improve, enjoy even more netball, or simply be part of a good group of people, we'd love to welcome you.

We're able to welcome players aged 14+, in line with Liverpool League rules.

If you've got any questions, know someone who might be interested, or just want to know a bit more about playing for Morecrofts, drop us a message. Even if you're just curious, we are always happy to chat. 💙

She only went and did it girls!!!! So proud of you our Charl. You have been so proactive in improving your umpiring, and becoming one of the most well thought of officials and now you have the letters to prove it.

Pursuing your umpiring journey alongside being a phenomenal captain and the best teammate is so you!!

Well in you MNC legend. We are so proud of you! We knew you'd smash it. So well deserved

Claire Cheng appreciation post 💙 Claire Cheng

Where do we even start with this one…

Claire is quite simply one of the people who makes our club what it is. The kind of person every club hopes to have but very few are lucky enough to.

Her impact isn’t always loud, but it is constant. She shows up, she supports, she creates space for others to feel welcome and confident, and she genuinely cares about the people around her. Whether that’s players stepping on court for the first time or those finding their way back into netball after injury, Claire has this brilliant way of making everyone know that they belong.

She is the definition of someone who quietly holds everything together. The glue, the calm, the kindness, and the consistency.

And as if that wasn’t enough… huge congratulations to Claire on recently passing her Walking Netball Host course 👏 and getting stuck into her Level 2 coaching journey soon. So well deserved and such an exciting next step not just for her, but for everyone she’ll continue to impact along the way.

We’re very lucky to have you Claire. Thank you for everything you bring to this club 💙

Our gorgeous came back to training on court for the first time after welcoming twins just four months ago 💙 she was spectacular, an absolute super mama.

But this post is really for all our mums and mums-to-be.

At Morecrofts, women’s health matters. Pregnancy, post-natal recovery, feeding schedules, sleep deprivation, confidence wobbles, slow rebuilds, fast rebuilds, or simply finding your way, it all counts. There is no “right” timeline and no pressure to be anything other than where you are right now.

Sara never left this club. She stayed connected, supported others, umpired, showed up in different ways and last night was just one more chapter of that journey 💙

We’re here for the check-ins, the flexibility, the modified sessions, the breaks when you need them, and the big cheers when you’re ready to step back on court. You don’t have to choose between being a mum and being part of this club.

Sara strength, calm, class, and leadership in everything you do ✨ We’re so proud of you. The Lyon is back

💗 Morecrofts Wear It Pink 💗

This week, our Morecrofts family turned the courts pink in support of Breast Cancer Now — raising funds and awareness for a cause that touches so many.
From pastel blush to hot pink, every bib, sock, and scrunchie represented strength, support, and solidarity 💪💞
We’re so proud of our club for showing up, donating, and playing with heart — on and off the court.

This Sunday brought something extra special courtside — our very own back with her beautiful twins- Joni and James💫

She might not have had her trainers on (this time 👀), but turning up with two future Mini Morecrofts players in tow is a strong comeback in our book!

Seeing her back on the sidelines summed up what its all about — belonging, support, and plenty of teammates ready to step in for a cuddle (or two) 💙

Motherhood changes a lot, but it doesn’t take away who you are — and we love having you back, Sara.🥰

SUNDAY NETBALL IS BACK 🏐

Falcons showed determination and teamwork as they kicked off their Sunday season in the while our Regional qualifier side brought composure, hustle and fight right through to the playoffs on first time of trying.

Not to be this time. But what a cracking day all round 👏

Our first ever friendlies with Runcorn Netball Club and it couldn’t have been better 🏐✨ After meeting at the fab MMNL summer tournaments, it was amazing to get back on court together – great games, big smiles and the best vibes all round 🙌

Thanks for coming to play, Runcorn – here’s to plenty more where that came from! 💙
