For the more experienced open water swimmers in the Region who would like to 'familiarise' themselves with the venue and course ahead of the 2026 Regional Open Water Swimming Championships, we are also offering, with support from , a 'Pre-Competition Familiarisation Session'.

This session will take place on Saturday 20th June 2026 at Sale Water Park.

🏊‍♂️🇬🇧 EUROPEAN JUNIOR SELECTION! 🇬🇧🏊‍♂️

Huge congratulations to Ethan Kelly on his selection to represent Aquatics GB at the European Junior Swimming Championships this summer in Munich!

This is an incredible achievement and a testament to Ethan’s hard work, commitment and outstanding performances in the pool this season, including hitting the European Junior consideration time at the Aquatics GB Championships for his 1500 free.

To earn the chance to compete on the international stage and wear the GB colours is a huge milestone, and everyone at City of Liverpool is immensely proud!

We can’t wait to watch Ethan take on Europe’s best and represent both club and country.

Following the success of our originally advertised 'Intro to Open Water Swimming sessions', we are pleased to be able to offer an additional couple of sessions which will take place immediately after - on the 17th May and 6th June from 4.00pm - 5.15pm.

This is the last opportunity to have access to 'coached' Open Water Swimming Sessions through the Region as a newcomer before this year's Regional Competition which takes place on 29th June.
