For Michael Priest 🇮🇪 to get to the start line in both races was a pleasant surprise after illness and injury and then to run a great 800m heat in a seasons best 3:00.88 then come back for the final in 3:07 to give it a go is testament to his strong attitude.

Hopefully back to good health and training for the summer.💪🏻⭐️

A silver in the 800m 🥈to add to his 3000m gold for ,a scrappy slow race turned into a last lap burn up and Davy ran to his limit to try to chase down the worthy Italian winner but was a step behind at the line.

Onward he goes to the 1500 and more medal hunting and as ever will always give his all.💪🏻⭐️
