Something a little different for the Forza Roma lads tonight.

We've got coaches from Steven Gerrard Academy coming down to take tonight's training session.

A great opportunity for the boys to work with some different coaches, pick up a few things and enjoy a different approach to training.

Looking forward to it!

FULL TIME | Finn Harps 4–2 Forza Roma

A disappointing morning for Roma as we suffer our fourth league defeat of the season.

First and foremost, credit to Finn Harps. They played some excellent football today, moved the ball around well and thoroughly deserved their victory.

From our perspective, a frustrating performance. We struggled to get going, didn't compete enough across the pitch and made life difficult for ourselves.

Once again, we showed glimpses of what we're capable of. When we got the ball down and played football, we created opportunities and scored twice. Unfortunately, those moments were too few and far between.

Huge credit to our defensive line today, who worked tirelessly throughout.

Joe was absolutely outstanding, covering practically every position across the back and putting in tackle after tackle. Layth was equally impressive, showing aggression, determination and a real willingness to battle for the shirt.

A big welcome to Anthony and Andy, who both made their Roma debuts today and put in excellent performances. Two really positive additions to the squad.

Man of the Match – Thomas

Awarded by our sponsor DWM Transport, who were watching today's game.

An absolutely brilliant goalkeeping performance. Some fantastic saves, outstanding reactions and agility that kept us in the game and prevented a much bigger scoreline.

Thoroughly deserved, Thomas!

Five league games played, four defeats, but we've been competitive in every single one. The ability is there, we just need to start showing it consistently.

Plenty to work on, plenty to improve, but plenty of football still to play.

We don't need eleven superstars. We need eleven lads willing to work for each other.

We go again, Roma!

A year ago today we introduced The Roma player of the Month award.

A nice £40 cash reward, trophy and recognition of hard work at training and efforts in game.

There was no surprise that Lil Joe won the first one.

The kid has phenomenal talent which we have deeply missed since January.

In time we will have the maestro back. Show everyone exactly how its done.

Lil Joe 17.

NEW VICE CAPTAIN
DAHUD FADIKA

After recently losing Matei, we had a big decision to make on who steps up as vice captain.

For us, Dahud was the obvious choice.

He’s always been a captain without the armband anyway.

Always vocal, always encouraging the lads, always pushing them and if something needs saying, he’ll say it. But he’s also the first one to say “well done” and get behind his teammates.

He cares, he wants to win and he leads in his own way.

Well done Dahud.

Happy 16th Birthday to Josh! 🎉⚽️

A massive happy birthday from everyone at Forza Roma.

Josh has been a brilliant part of this team and a great lad to have around the group.

He always gives everything for the badge, supports his teammates and has played his part in plenty of big moments with us.

Hope you have a brilliant 16th birthday mate enjoy your day!

From all the coaches, players and parents at Forza Roma ❤️⚽️

⚽ STRIKER WANTED – FORZA ROMA U16s

We’re looking to add one quality striker to an already strong and settled squad.

We’ve been together for four years, currently play Division Two, train every Tuesday and play our league games on Saturdays.

We’re not rebuilding and we’re not looking for numbers. We’ve got a solid squad of 15–17 lads, supportive parents and good competition throughout the team.

There’s just one area we want to strengthen – up front.

We’re looking for a striker playing at a good medium level who backs themselves, works hard for the team and can come in and compete for that position.

What we offer:
• No signing-on fee
• Home, away & training kits provided
• Winter coat provided
• £40 Player of the Month award + trophy
• £20 birthday gift for every player
• Regular team meals and days out
• Bowling, paintballing and other team-building events
• A proper team environment with a great group of lads and parents

📍 Anfield based – must be able to travel for away fixtures.

⚽ COME DOWN AND HAVE A TRIAL WITH US

If you’re a striker, or your lad is a striker, and you’re considering a change or looking for a new challenge, come down to one of our Tuesday training sessions, meet the lads, meet the coaches and have a proper session with us.

No pressure and no commitment. Come down, see what we’re about and let us see what you can bring to the team.

We’re only looking to strengthen this one position, so if you’re a striker who wants regular football with a well-established team and a good group around you, send us a private message and we’ll arrange a trial.

🔥 One position. One final addition. Could it be you?
