Liverpool showed up and showed out flame🔥
Over 350 athletes. 9 divisions. One unforgettable day of grit, sweat, and everything that makes this community what it is.

From the first-timers finding out exactly what they’re capable of, to the seasoned competitors chasing the podium every single person out on that course added something to the story of this event. That’s the whole point. Not just who crossed the line first, but who showed up, pushed through, and walked away with something to remember.

Ultimate Athlete doesn’t happen without the people who show up before the athletes do the ones marking out the course in the dark, manning water stations, cheering total strangers over the finish line, and doing it all again the next time we ask.
Liverpool was huge. And it was huge because of you 💙

To every single volunteer who gave up your time, your energy, and honestly your voice (we heard you cheering people through the race) Thank you. You’re not “support” for this event. You’re the heartbeat of it. Nothing runs without you.

That nervous energy sitting in your chest right now isn’t a sign something’s wrong. It’s a sign you’re about to do something you’ve never done before. Every single person on that start line tomorrow, no matter how many races they’ve got behind them, remembers what their first one felt like.

You don’t need to have this figured out. You don’t need to be the fittest person out there. You just need to show up and give it a go the training’s done, the hard part now is trusting it.

Get an early night. Lay your kit out. Tomorrow isn’t about being the best. It’s about finding out what you’re capable of.

Some athletes bring the challenge. Shaun Anderson brings the soundtrack to it.
He’s been part of Ultimate Athlete since day one, long before the medals, the crowds, the finish line moments we all live for. Now he’s back behind the decks for Liverpool, and if you’ve felt that surge of energy mid-workout when the right track drops at the right second, you know exactly what that means.
Shaun doesn’t just play music. He reads a race. He knows when the room needs a push and when it needs to breathe, and he turns a course full of individual efforts into one shared experience.

Behind every finish line at Ultimate Athlete Liverpool is a lineup of people who make the whole experience what it is and this year’s vendors and partners are bringing it.
💪🏼 Fuelling and supporting every athlete on the day, our proud nutrition partner Applied Nutrition will be onsite giving you everything you need to perform and recover: before, during and after your wave.
