Just a couple of weeks until our first networking social of 2023 at

Contact Sport networking events aim to provide a unique networking experience - a good chance to try something new whilst getting all of the benefits of traditional networking.

Expect an evening of traditional pub games and networking hosted at The Denbigh Castle, just off Dale Street. Inlcuding some classic games with some unique ones thrown in for good measure!

A fantastic turnout for our first Contact Sport run club in partnership with 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 💨

The weather again wasn’t exactly in our favour, but it didn’t stop us getting out in the wind and hail and giving it a good go!

We’ll be releasing information about our monthly Run Club Social over the coming days, so keep an eye out for that.

The first of our monthly social cycles takes place on Sunday 29th January as we complete the Wirral Way, meeting in Liverpool City Centre at James St station for 09:30.

Expect 3-4 hours of cycling with some food/drink stops along the way.

Looking ahead further into 2023, our Golf Day (for all) will take place on Thursday 11th May at Formby Hall ⛳️

Tickets include:
- welcome drinks and snacks
- beginners: golf clinic and a trip around the 9-hole course with coaches
- regular players: 18 hole course with golf pro
- drinks available at half way house
- Competitions/Prizes
- A raffle draw with proceeds going to
- Guest Speaker
- Evening welcome drinks
- Evening meal

As the Contact Sport team signs off for 2022 we just wanted to share a few highlights from the last 12 months.

A big thank you to everyone who has been a part of helping us grow over the last year.

We’re going bigger and better in 2023 with some exciting things already in the pipeline, and as we continue to provide accessible wellbeing solutions for our growing community, we can’t wait to share with you what we’ve got planned 👀

Have a great Christmas and New Year and we’ll see you on the other side 👊🏼

Feel like you’re giving yourself a hard time at the moment? You’re not alone. Pressure to be out and be merry, pressure to maintain a certain level of exercise and good nutrition…

At no point should we be beating ourselves up about what we can or can’t do. We’re here to do our best and sometimes what our best looks like changes. That’s ok.

Performance goals really are a key one here - what is a personal challenge you could set yourself? A PB on the gym floor / longest run or cycle / fastest mile / your first full set of press ups…

You’ll have fun pushing yourself - honest - and the achievement will show you what you’re really capable of, and give you more confidence for the next challenge.

Celebrate / rest / reset in whichever way is going to be most valuable for you.

We’re all different. Do what’s best for your head and body in the long term - look after yourself, you’ve come far and you’re going to go further 💪

We recently celebrated the achievements of Tyrone McCarthy] at his testimonial dinner . We may not have had any answers for the quiz, but we learnt plenty 😎

Lots of brilliant events lined up for more fundraising - if you want to join in with the fun from Tyrone McCarthy] and his team then there’s an afternoon tea, a Rovers Return and an After Party still to come… DM for more info!
