Last post from G’s comp… this lift deserves its own post…

Last lift of the day.. massive PB 237.5kg… locked out but a no lift from the judges due to a slight little hitch as he locked out.. next time it’s in!!

The intensity of drive to get this lift is what I love to see from a lifter… I know everyone is different on their approach but there’s just something beautiful about watching someone let everything out and throw everything they have at the bar to get that fu**er up… it will always be something that i will try and bring out of anyone i coach… an this is a fine example of it!!

Nice to get a deload in last week and start this week off with nothing silly….
The importance of a deload and knowing when to back off from the heavy stuff is just as important as pushing for the big numbers…!!
You can’t smash through walls and expect big gains… you gotta chip away brick by brick and bring the fu**er down..
