Located in West Sussex, delivering to all of England, Wales and France. Coarse Fish Uk is Owned and run by Arron Standing a graduate of Sparsholt College. Coarse fish uk produces quality Carp of its own unique Sussex Scaley strain. MORE LENEY’S!
We’ve just completed another new growing pond at one of our three farm sites, hopefully there’s time for another one to go in before the rains start. This one will be used to increase the amount of pure Leney’s we can produce as it’s essential to keep them separate from other carp on the farm.

The years C1’s are available in bulk at the moment. We have a minimum order of £1000.00 for delivery by ourselves, depending on distance from the farm.
The fish prices are:
2-4” x 1000, £800.00
2-4” x 2000, £1500.00
Prices are plus vat and delivery. Collection is also possible.

Some of the fish due to go out for delivery tomorrow. This time of year we sell box Quantities of baby carp and tench to reduce the numbers in our stock ponds, the fish are bagged up with pure oxygen and shipped using one of the two courier companies in the uk licensed to deal with live fish. Ourselves and many companies have been doing this for a very long time and it’s fine to do so. Other species such as roach, perch bream etc cannot be moved this time of year but it’s no problem small carp and tench.

Self spawner is a term fish farmers use for carp which have naturally reproduced on the farm. Under farm conditions carp are usually the only species in the pond and because of this when they spawn a huge amount of the eggs survive and the vast amounts of fry can actually be a problem so this time of year we need to remove as many as possible. Although the fry are healthy we would not grow these ourselves because of the lack of selective breeding.

One of our pure Redmire Leney’s doing really well at the famous Manor fishery. Lots of people are under the misconception that Leney’s are slow growers but in our experience they can grow as fast as anything else in the right conditions with the added bonus of the Galician longevity.
This fish was stocked at 6lb and now two years later it’s 22lb of gorgeousness! Perhaps this fish may grow to be the next lord of the manor.
