I absolutely love my job. 💚

I truly do.

Tonight we had a group starting their independent lessons, so no parent is in the water with them.

💚We had some who have tried this before and it wasn’t the right time.
💚We had some who just started with us 2 or three terms ago and were nervous and didn’t like water on their face.
💚We had some who have been with us for years.

What they all had in common tonight was how great they all did!!!

I was so proud of every single one and that includes the parents! It’s hard to take that step back and give your child the chance to grow.

Well done to everyone.

We know its a little cooler then last week but its all ok.... Swimming starts back up today!!!

We are kicking off the Summer Term at the lovely Fontwell Physio pool and are excited to welcome back returning little ones but also welcoming a whole NEW class of Turtles.

It is going to be a splashing term and we cannot wait to see you all in the water!!

We all know how hard it is to keep little ones cool at night in this heat. Here are some tips:

💚 Keep baby's room temperature cool
- Keep the blinds/curtains closed during the day
-Use lighter bedding and clothing, with fewer layers.
- Open the bedroom door and a window, if it’s safe to do so, to allow the air to flow.
- Check baby sleep bag guidance for which tog to use for each season.
- Use a fan to cool the room, but don’t aim it directly towards the baby.
- Keep curtains closed in the daytime so the room doesn’t heat up as much.
- Use a thermometer to check the room is the right temperature – as it’s hard to guess.
- Have baby in a short sleeve vest or just a nappy
