Shout out to Beeston Young Farmers who have lots of events on over the summer for members both young and old (if 28 is old?!). You can become a member of Young Farmers from the age of 10 and you don’t have to live or work on a farm - membership is open to anyone who enjoys being out in the countryside and has an interest in rural life.
Their events range from quiz teams, float building, raft building, rounders, bowling, crazy golf and even car treasure hunts. They run these events for the junior members too so it’s age appropriate.
They also have a Junior Stock Judging Team if they are interested in the stock aspect of farming (no personal stock needed!). Many members aren’t farmers or children of farmers - they just enjoy the socials!
