A little bit of honestyโฆ
I am Very sleep deprived , itโs that time of the month, my brain is very foggy, and I do make mistakes. Quite a few of them, actually.
As instructors, we often put pressure on ourselves to show up with endless energy, perfect choreography, and a smile that never wavers. The reality is that weโre human too.
Some days you feel on top of the world. Some days youโre running on empty and doing your best anyway.
Iโm incredibly hard on myself (as I know so many women are), but I also know thereโs a lesson in this. Not every day has to be your best day. Not every performance has to be perfect. Sometimes simply showing up is enough.
So if youโre an instructor reading this and youโve ever walked away from a class replaying every mistake in your head, I see you.
And to my class members who witnessed my lack of brain capacity โฆ thank you for your patience, your smiles, and for showing up anyway. โค๏ธ
Tomorrow is a new day, next week is a new and weโll go again.
