It’s all in the detail…

Once the overall design has been agreed, it’s time to look more closely at the details that will bring everything together.

From furniture and flooring to lighting, bespoke joinery, colours and finishes, each element needs to be carefully considered – not only for how it looks, but for how it will work in practice.

Our locker room projects are a great example of this.

From the design and finish of the lockers to the flooring, lighting, seating, tiles and colour scheme, every detail is considered as part of the overall space.

Locker rooms are hardworking areas of a Golf Club, but that doesn’t mean they should be purely functional. Thoughtful design can create a welcoming, comfortable environment that feels very much part of the wider clubhouse.

Good design is often found in the details – and getting those details right can make all the difference to the finished result.

Once we've explored fabrics, flooring, colours, furniture and finishes, the next step is bringing everything together.
Creating a mood board allows us to see how each element works alongside the others and helps the Club visualise the overall look and feel we're proposing.
But it's about more than choosing colours that work well together.
We consider how the clubhouse is used, the character of the Club, comfort and practicality, as well as creating an interior that will stand the test of time.

It's an exciting stage of the process – when individual ideas start to become a clear vision for the finished space.

A lot happens before a finished design comes together!
From fabrics and carpets to paint colours, timber finishes and furniture, we spend time bringing together different combinations of colours, textures and materials to find just the right balance for each Club.
It's not simply about what looks good. We consider durability, comfort, practicality and how everything will work together in a busy clubhouse environment.
This is one of our favourite parts of the design process – seeing the ideas begin to take shape and creating a scheme that's individual to each Club.
