Evening all Members/Parents/Guardians,

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 AGM is being held on Friday 28th November.

The venue is again at the Formby Little Theatre, L37 3HF. The venue can be accessed from both the Lonsdale Road and Rosemary Lane pathways. Parking is easier on the Lonsdale side.

The doors will be open from 7:30pm to come along and speak to Committee members and the meeting itself will aim to start at 8pm prompt.

A reminder that any voting can only be done by paid up members with Social or Full EA membership and of club voting age.

A full agenda and any proposition items will be issued in the days leading up to the meeting. Any agenda items or proposals must be in writing to:

they must not arrive any later than midday on Sunday 23rd November 2025.

Our new kit manufacturer Scimitar Sportswear have created our amazing and fresh looking running vests. This new design creates a more modern feel, using a breathable fabric and more importantly materials that are made from recycled materials.
SWAC doing our part for the environment.
Vests are available for purchase from the track on Tuesday night. They are £25.00 each and are available in a vest or a raceback female vest. Payment can be made with cash or via a bank transfer. If you can’t get to the track don’t worry, simply email me and we can arrange for you to collect it at another training session. [email protected]

We have also purchased our sportshall team a new technical jersey for the Autumn/Winter season, their first new kit in ten years. They will look amazing at their league fixtures.

The club ballot for the London Marathon was made last night at the Committee Meeting. The winner of our guaranteed place was Katy Coupland. Congratulations Katy. Our reserve is David Wright and second reserve is Sam Moran.
