A notice to all our customers-
We LOVE how friendly and wonderful 99% of our customers are here at Brows Farm Golf Centre. We enjoy chatting to you, receiving feedback and are always looking to keep everyone happy, further improving the facility.
Sadly in recent months we have noticed an increase of very disrespectful behaviour, mainly from kids under 20.
A common occurrence seems to be that young lads are staying late after we close at 8:30pm. Where the range is unmanned, they seem to think they will go unnoticed. Helping themselves to balls off the range or walking out with clubs, hitting balls off the grass. We’ve had cases of sleeping bags and alcohol being brought in.
Immediately spotted on CCTV, these young lads are asked to leave and given a warning that vehicle registrations are noted and further disrespect will result in a permanent ban.
We want to be very clear, we monitor the CCTV remotely throughout the day closely and especially when we close at 8:30pm. We of course allow for people to finish off hitting balls that have been paid for but once they are finished, customers must make their way off the premises promptly.
Last night we had two lads at the range after we closed and before we could get there to usher them away, they were on the range hitting balls in all directions. One eventually hit a ball at our excavator adjacent to the range building smashing the rear window. The two individuals left immediately, failing to make us aware of the damage. Police have been informed and given their vehicle registration, so they’ll soon have a knock at the door. We intent for the lad to pay for the damage and then of course both will receive a permanent ban from our premises. We hope this is a lesson to all that think it is fine to disrespect our family business that we work so hard to keep nice for everyone.
Thank you… apologies for the moan… Swingers Arms will be open soon!!!
