Well folks. We had a few people who walked from moanes cross into clones last year and we have some people enquiring this year - for anyone that would like to participate this way there will be the option to start from moanes cross at 10.00am. was a great walk by all accounts, one that clears the head and works up a thirst..... 😜

It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces from the club — you really are the backbone of this community — but it makes it even more special when we get to welcome new faces too. 🙌

What a few busy weeks it has been for Knocks Running Club. Our members have been on the road near and far, proudly representing KRC and showing amazing club spirit every step of the way. Proud is an understatement.
We had a fantastic turnout at the Maguire’s Bridge 5K and 5 Miler, with Diane, Deirdre, Martin, Sean, Eileen, Patricia, Marcella and Catherine all flying the flag for KRC. Great running, great pace and a brilliant event all round. Well done everyone 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Sean took on the Athlone 10 Miler and by all accounts it was a super course. If you’re looking a nice flat route, that’s the one 👌 Diane also headed to Florencecourt for the 5K. Fair play to her for getting out to all the events lately, what a woman 👏🔥
Eileen travelled to Cootehill for a charity run in aid of Holy Family School. A wonderful cause and a great event to be part of ❤️🏃‍♀️
Saturday morning saw Knocks Running Club take over Lough Head parkrun in Lisnaskea, with all the volunteers proudly made up of KRC members. What a great morning it was, full of smiles, support and plenty of encouragement ☀️🙌 A big well done and thank you to everyone involved.
And the adventures didn’t stop there. Sean Mullan, Martha Mcdermott, Sinead Mohan, Patricia Hutchinson, Deirdre Parker and Diane McCaffrey headed off to Dublin last Thursday to run with FTD Brothers as the boys completed their unbelievable challenge of 33 marathons in 33 days. What an absolutely brilliant day, and the weather made it even better ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Massive congratulations to Jordan and Cian. What an incredible achievement 💪👏🎉
So many miles covered, so many events supported, and so much KRC spirit on show. Well done to all our members for getting out there, supporting one another and doing the club proud week after week 🖤💛

Miles with Smiles is back!
Running, walking, jogging — however you move, come along and join the fun with friends. No pressure, no pace, everyone is welcome just good vibes and great company. Save the date and don’t forget, we’ll be heading to our local coffee shop afterwards for a well-earned coffee and a catch-up. ☕🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚶‍♀️😄

It’s a knocks running club take over this weekend we’re all the volunteers are from the club here to cheer you on and support you every step of they way. Will we see you there ? Sinead is Run Director this Saturday see you all bright and early 9:30 to this fun free weekly event at Lough Head parkrun. Lisnaskea.

Attention all parkrunners: Lough Head parkrun is under orange and white control this Saturday.
Sinead is your Run Director, the roster is bursting at the seams, and Knocks Running Club have pulled off a full volunteer takeover. That’s right — every marshal, scanner, timekeeper, funnel expert and enthusiastic clapper this week is from the one club. We’re not saying it’s a hostile takeover… but there will be a lot of orange and white.
Expect top-class cheering, suspicious levels of organisation, and enough club spirit to power the whole course. If you hear extra shouting, don’t worry — it’s just encouragement. Probably.
So come along, enjoy the madness, and join us for what promises to be a brilliant morning at Lough Head parkrun. Whether you run, jog, walk or just come to admire the orange and white army in action, we’ll see you there.

What a busy and brilliant few weeks for Knocks Running Club. Running shoes on, miles logged, and plenty of club spirit on show.
Last Sunday, Belfast Marathon took centre stage, and we were proud to have 2 relay teams and several members taking on the full marathon distance 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
A massive shoutout to Martha and Sean, who both completed their very first marathon — an amazing achievement and one to be incredibly proud of 💪👏 Finishing 26.2 miles strong is no small feat.
Well done to all our members who took part in Belfast Marathon. The atmosphere was electric, and the support from the crowds was absolutely incredible 🙌🎉 A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the day so special.
Over the same weekend, the Fermanagh Camino took place across 3 days 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Some of our club members were also giving their time to volunteer in support of Cancer Connect ❤️ What a fantastic cause and a great example of community spirit.
On Sunday, Diane and Michelle were also out clocking up the miles as they joined the Camino for the day 👏
A weekend full of running, volunteering, community, and support — exactly what club spirit is all about.
