After the repsponse we got with the video about shaping an oar blade, we thought we'd make a similar video about shaping an oar loom.
Again, all using hand tool and shaped in by eye and feel.
Using a combination of a power plane, routers, a jack plane, block plane and spoke shave.

All done using a mixture of bollow planes, draw knives, block planes, spoke shaves and a power plane.
