Having been personally practising pilates for over 15 years I want to offer the benefits I have found pilates has given to me by teaching these skills to people who want to become healthier in both mind and body. By doing pilates you can become more aware of how your body moves and use this knowledge to improve your posture and gait during everyday activities of daily living. I will guide you thro
ugh exercises that will help you to focus your mind on individual parts of your body and by just focusing your mind on these exercises you will find you become relaxed after each session. I will be offering classes initially at St Keynes Village hall starting from Tuesday, 6 October, 2020 on 7-8 pm. These will be mixed male and female classes and anyone 18 and over can join in. I will be starting beginner sessions initially but those who have done pilates before are welcome to join and if numbers are right then additional classes will be set up to accommodate people of different levels and/or ages. Bookings will be in 6 week terms with payment for each term made at the beginning of the term to reserve a place. The cost is £60 per term (see Terms and conditions). You will be asked to fill in a health questionnaire. It may be that you need to consult your GP before undertaking pilates for your own safety.
