🏆 Another Irish Champion in the ranks!

Massive congratulations to Jake Todd! 🏆

What a sensational season it’s been for another of our talented young members!

This past weekend, 9-year-old Jake was officially crowned the Junior Gearbox 125cc Champion at the Irish Minibike Championship—and he did it with a full round still to go! 🥇

To make this title even more unbelievable, Jake maintained a 100% winning record in the IMC this year, taking the checkered flag in every single race he competed in.

At just 9 years old, he becomes one of the youngest riders to ever achieve a perfect record like this.

On top of his Irish title, Jake has been flying the flag over in the British MiniBike Championship in the Mini GP Ohvale 110 class. He was sitting in a fantastic 3rd place overall heading into the final round, but due to family commitments, couldn't make the last race, wrapping up an awesome 4th place overall in the UK standings.

To dominate an Irish Championship with a perfect record and challenge right at the front of a British Championship all at 9 years old is pure quality.

Everyone at Temple Motorcycle & Athletic Club is incredibly proud of you, Jake. Huge congratulations to you and your family on a brilliant, record-breaking season! 🏁👏

🏆 Massive congratulations to Louis Craig!🏆

What an unbelievable weekend of racing over at Whilton Mills in England!
Louis has officially been crowned the JMS90 British Champion!

As if taking the JMS90 title wasn't enough, he also bagged an incredible 2nd place in the 110 Mini Bike GP British Championship!

To be running at the front of two national championships in just his second year of racing—and at only 11 years old—is nothing short of impressive.

Louis is one of the youngest members of the Temple Motorcycle & Athletic Club, and we couldn't be prouder of his achievements.

Huge congratulations to Louis and his family; everyone at the club is absolutely delighted for you!

To top off a brilliant weekend, another one of our talented young members, Charlie Forrester, claimed a fantastic 3rd place in the 110 Mini GP Championship! 🥉

Having two Temple Club members standing on the national podium in England is a massive achievement.

Well Done Boys🏁👏

🏆 IMPORTANT UPDATE & APOLOGY 🏆

The Temple Motorcycle & Athletic Club wish to make a sincere public clarification and apology regarding a recent post about the McKillop Fastest Female Trophy.

There was a major mix-up on our part: there are actually two McKillop Fastest Female Trophies, not just one.

We incorrectly believed the trophy was missing when, in fact, our trophy was safely stored by one of our club members.

Because of this mistake, we wrongfully took back a trophy from Alana Maher that was 100% rightfully hers, presented to her by the B&D Club.

We owe Alana Maher a huge, heartfelt apology. The Temple Motorcycle & Athletic Club are passionate supporters of women in racing, which makes us regret even more deeply how Alana was treated in this instance.
Taking back an award she earned fair and square—and posting about it publicly—was entirely our error.
We completely understand her frustration, and we take full responsibility for the distress caused.

We are pleased to share that Alana’s trophy has today been returned to the B&D Club for their annual short circuit event at Kirkistown.

Meanwhile, our McKillop Fastest Female Trophy found in storage has now been engraved and officially presented to Ciara Cahoon for her fantastic achievement as Fastest Female Rider at Round 2 of the USBK Championship at Bishopscourt.

Sincerely
Mark McBride
Chairman

On behalf of the Temple Motorcycle and Athletic Club, we want to express our deepest thanks to every single person who made yesterday’s Round 5 Ulster Solo Championship an absolute triumph.

To every rider who lined up at the gate and put on a thrilling show, and to every spectator who came out to cheer them on—thank you for bringing such electric energy to Laurel Bank. Seeing talent and passion represent every corner of Ulster MX circles is exactly why we do this.

An event of this scale simply does not happen without an army of dedicated people working behind the scenes.
Our thanks go out to:
* Our Flag Marshals: For keeping our riders safe

Timing & Sign-In Teams: For keeping the schedule running seamlessly and accurately.
* Our Commentator: For keeping the crowd hooked on every lap and battle.

* Our Dedicated Temple Club Members: Who poured endless hours of sweat into track prep, setup, and cleanup before, during, and long after the engines stopped.

Special congratulations to Thomas Smyth our Clerk of the Course on his debut off road event jeep everything running smoothly and on time.

At our core, our mission as a club is simple: to promote, support and grow the sport of motorcycle racing.
Looking back at yesterday, we can proudly say we did just that.

Thank you all for being a part of it. Rest up, enjoy the memories, and we’ll see you at the next one!
