There was a bit more multisport action this weekend with Stuart and Gail heading down to Westport for the Gaelforce Events | B Corp™️ Gaelforce West Adventure Race. Gail does Gaelforce…do you see what we did there 😝

After being collected by bus at 6am for a drive to the Lough Inagh Valley, the race covered 13km of trail running to Killary Harbour. Then onto the kayaks for a 1km paddle followed by a 36km cycle to the base of Croagh Patrick. After a 4.5km run to the summit and back there was a final 12km cycle to the finish line in Westport. If you fancy an adventure race it doesn’t get much more epic than this 👏🏼

What a weekend of racing for the Fluoro Army!

After placing 1st Lady yesterday at Beyond the Wall, Helen decided to go for it again today at the Quarry Triathlon and came away with another 1st Lady 🥇

We also had Age Group podiums for Diane, Marie & Campbell 👏🏼 Brilliant racing from everyone. We love triathlon season!

The Swim Ulster Big Bay Swim 3k in Donaghadee was no bother to Plunkett.

He completed the 3km swim in ok conditions and a water temperature of 11°C. One stretch was slightly challenging due to the tide coming in but .kelly got the job done 🏊👏🏼

Well done to Neil and Emily who raced Ironman 70.3 Bolton this weekend. They both had eventful races with lost timing chips, wrong turns and loose shoes but got their hands on those well deserved finishers medals 🏅🏅

Crooked Lake Sprint triathlon. Plunkett told us it was an amazing day all round, weather stayed dry for the whole event, water was lovely and calm (& 17°), roads were dry for the cycle and the run, with no wind... brilliant, well organised and well supported event. Great fun. Well done .kelly 👏🏼

There is an army of LTC cyclists (30+ riders) that will be taking part in this weekend - 480 miles around NI in 48 hours. This is all for which is a local charity helping those affected with pancreatic cancer, raising awareness and funding research of this cruel disease. ⁩ himself lost his lovely Dad at the end of last year after a tough battle with pancreatic cancer. Approx 260 people in NI are diagnosed each year and the aim here is to raise as much money as possible for this amazing local charity.

All of the teams set off from Lisburn Rugby Club this afternoon and are currently working their way towards the Ards Peninsula before circumnavigating Northern Ireland and making it back to Wallace High School on Sunday morning.

The LTC teams donation pages are below. Honestly it really doesn’t matter which one you donate to as it all goes to the same place so, if you can, please pick one and fire in a couple of quid. It really will help us all get round during what is looking to be a dreadful weekend weather wise.

The teams are Team Fluoro Army (Tracker 24), Team LTC Ladies (Tracker 23) This year there is a team of juniors taking in this epic challenge Team Youth (Tracker 1). Many of these kiddos are children of LTC members. We wish them all the best of legs and will be glued to the tracker (when we aren’t cycling)! Keep pedalling 💜
