Lisburn Triathlon Club

Lisburn Triathlon Club Lisburn's first and only Triathlon club. We welcome members from the City of Lisburn and surrounding areas.

Swim Training: Mondays 7pm - 8:45pm and Wednesday 7pm - 9:00pm. Cycling and running training groups are available at weekends.. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who is a triathlete or who is considering taking up one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Congratulations to Adam who smashed his first Ironman distance at Ironman Copenhagen. Adam nailed his training and it all paid off on race day, completing the 140.6 miles in just over 11 hours.

This race is a firm favourite with lots of our members and we look forward to hearing all about it. Well done Adam William 🙌🏼

A huge thank you to Gartan Open Water Swimmers for hosting another fantastic Inch Mile! 🌊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Thirteen hardy LTC swimmers took the plunge off the ferry for the mile-long crossing of Lough Swilly, from Inch Island back to Rathmullan.

Conditions were challenging with metre-high white-tops, but an outgoing tide and an opposing westerly wind kept the swim lines on target, showing the organisers knew what they were talking about! 💪

A massive thank you to the outstanding safety crew for keeping a watchful eye on everyone throughout, particularly looking after one of our own who had a run-in with the dreaded lion’s mane. huge congratulations to all 13 of our swimmers. You should be very proud! 👏

Well done to our swimmers who participated in the Lord and Lady of the Lake swim at Camlough recently. This is an annual event organised by infinity Swim to raise funds for Evora Hospice

The swim was a 2.2km point-to-point swim with the option of wetsuit or skins. Well done to Gail Pedlow and Lee NíMhurchú for braving the skins swim.

Huge well done to club member Emily who took on IRONMAN UK Swansea 70.3. This was race 2 of 5 for who is aiming to become the first female to complete all of the UK Ironman and 70.3 races this year.
