Vs Taughmonagh

A brilliant performance from the boys with a great draw. A special mention to the keeper, who scored a lovely goal in the final few minutes!

Jack was outstanding in defence, while Joel put in a great shift in nets. Joshua and Jack Byrne were fantastic outfield too.

Vs Colin Valley

What a goal-fest! 🔥

Kolton smashed in the first goal within the opening few minutes before Jack Byrne added the second. Jack then fired in another with an assist from Joshua before completing his hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Another goal from Jack Byrne made it five goals for him, with an outstanding overall team performance. Carson also pulled off some amazing saves to keep us going!

Vs Moira

Carson opened the scoring before he and Kolton created plenty of chances, with lots of near misses along the way.

Joshua grabbed our second, followed by Carson with a fantastic half-volley full of flair!

Jack B thought he had added a fourth, but unfortunately it was ruled out for handball.

Another brilliant all-round performance from the whole squad!

Brilliant performance from start to finish, the passing, communication, teamwork and the passion shown from every kid tonight was outstanding. The boys are taking onboard what they are learning at training and bringing it into a match day!

Parent player of the match this week goes to Jaxon. Jaxons work rate at training is outstanding and it’s showing in his match performances! Well deserved player of the match tonight! Bagging himself two goals in the process!🏆

Lisburn City 2016 Colts vs Oxford Sunnyside Stars

Opening game of the new 26/27 and the boys started brilliantly. From minute 1 they got into the face of their opponents, not allowing them to get a touch of the ball. Chances started to fall in our favour and were very unlucky not to go score from a pinball corner. However, minutes after with brilliant play on the left we got our chance and scored. Michael played a brilliant pass to Samuel who then saw Adam make a great run forward to smash in our first of the season. We came close again with a free kick from Logan and rattling the crossbar by Coen.

Second half.

The boys were a bit slow to start the half and allowed Oxford back into the game with two quick fire goals. The boys didn’t give up which we as coaches were so proud of. A throw in deep into the Oxford half led to Oisin rifling the ball into the top corner, drawing with 5 minutes to play. Another pin ball corner leading to Ben to slotting in the ball in for the winner!

The boys worked their socks off all game and we as coaches were so proud of them and for digging deep after conceding 2 goals

Player of the match goes to Michael for working extremely hard as left back. But all the boys done a great job. 💛🖤

Great job from the team this morning! 👏

Some really valuable minutes for our new players, as well as some of our 2020s, who all got the opportunity to step up and gain some great experience. 💪

A fantastic effort from everyone, finishing the morning with two draws and one loss. The team worked hard, battled throughout and showed some great team spirit. 👏🔥

Our first ever league game in the 7-a-side league and what a way to start! The boys battled right until the final whistle and showed incredible determination to come away with a brilliant WIN! 🏆⚽️

Every single boy on that pitch was absolutely excellent tonight. The defenders were UNREAL and worked so hard as a team. 💪👏

(2013s) Lisburn City Juniors v Moira

What a fantastic way to start the new season for the 2013 Juniors squad

The boys put in a really strong performance from start to finish, playing some excellent football and showing great teamwork throughout the game. There was plenty of good passing, movement and attacking play on display, with the team looking sharp and creating lots of opportunities.

It was great to see the boys working together, supporting each other and enjoying their football. The effort and attitude from everyone was excellent, and there were plenty of positives to take from the opening game.
