Lisburn Swimmers Shine in Limerick and Dublin
🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️

Huge congratulations to all of our swimmers who headed to Limerick and Dublin in July to compete in the Irish Age Group Championships and the Irish Youth & Senior Championships!

Across two weeks in July, 42 Swimmers, celebrated 83 Finalists, 18 Podiums and 5 Irish Gold Medals and rightly shone brightly amongst the best in Ireland 🌟 And before they start to look forward to the new season that is just around the corner, they will for now enjoy a well earned summer break!

Sincere thanks to Stan and his team of coaches who have led our swimmers throughout the year, to Maria and her team of teachers who have developed our youngest swimmers though Learn to Swim, to our volunteers and swimming families who work tirelessly in the background to support our swimmers and everything that we do as a club, and of course to our sponsors Slainte Engineering and Alpha, and partners who support our club throughout the year ❤️

We hope that everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable summer break, and see you all soon as we look forward to doing it all again for the 2026/2027 season

Irish National Open Water Swimming Championships 2026

Hot on the heels of Lisburn success in the pool in both Limerick and Dublin, so our outdoor Open Water swimmers made their way to Roscommon for the Irish Open Water Championships!

Huge congratulations to Erin Fitzpatrick who returned home with a gold medal in the 3km U19 Female Category in a time of 37 mins, 13 secs!!
