Taekwon-Do schools these days usually focus on children and sport rather than the authentic martial art and self-defence. However, there is a place where adults can train in Taekwon-Do with focus on martial art and self-defence. Lisburn A.C.E Taekwon-Do is Authentic Taekwon-Do training in a friendly class environment and the instruction is conducted mostly in English. Taekwon -D training follows t

he International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) syllabus as designed by General Choi Hon Hi, the founder of Taekwon-Do (TKD). Lisburn A.C.E Taekwon-Do focuses on martial art, rather than martial sport, and includes practical self-defence techniques. Practitioners learn traditional martial art techniques based on Newtonian scientific principles. The practitioner is then progressively taught how to adapt traditional martial art movements into practical self-defence techniques. The full syllabus covers an arsenal that includes blocks, strikes and punches, kicks, with throws and joint-locks at the higher end of the syllabus. The instructor have decades of Taekwon-Do teaching experience and has presented seminars worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to learn an established and battle proven martial art. Lisburn A.C.E. Taekwon-Do currently has spaces avilable for our Taekwon-Do kubz class.

🐯Taekwon-Do kubz is truly an amazing program for children.

🥋This is a specially designed class and syllabus for children as young as 3.

It is a FUN, DYNAMIC and EXCITING way for a child to start on their martial arts journey.

As a parent do you want your child to;

✅️Learn to Stop, Look and Listen to people who mind us (parents, teachers, guardians etc)

✅️ Develop excellent communication skills, including when to use their calm voice or confident voice.

✅️ Learn social interaction.

✅️ Develop awareness of health, body, mind and food.

✅️ Anti bullying methods.

✅️ Safety skills.

👊Using martial arts philosophy and a unique syllabus we aim to inspire great behaviour, self confident and happy children.
We will instill a motto of "Effort and Attitude builds champions". Our club works in conjunction with you the parent and school in order to help children be the best they can be.

Places for the Taekwon-Do kubz class are limited and need to be booked in advance

National Instructors Course

Looking forward to hosting this event. This course will take place on September 20th and will be conducted by A.C.E. Taekwon-Do vice president Grand Master O'Neill.

Open to 2nd Kup Red Belts and above (open to all regardless of affiliation)

I Dan – can qualify for ‘C’ - Class Instructor
II Dan - can qualify for ‘B’ - Class Instructor
III Dan - can qualify for ‘A’ - Class Instructor

Under 18yrs Blackbelts can qualify as
‘National Junior Instructor’

2nd Kup Red Belts - Educational Training Only

1st Kup’s - Can qualify as National ‘C’ - Class if over 18yrs or Junior Instructor if Under 18yrs, providing your Blackbelt grading is within 6 Months.
If Successful certificates will be deferred until Blackbelt.

Scenic Side Kick Competition! 🥋📸

This August, we're inviting all our students to get out, explore, and show off their Taekwon-Do skills! From scenic side kicks to picturesque punches, we want to see your best techniques captured in amazing locations.

The competition runs throughout August and closes at the start of September, with a prize awarded for the best entry!
So whether you're on holiday, enjoying a local landmark, or training somewhere with a stunning backdrop, strike your best pose, snap a photo, and send it in.

We can't wait to see your holiday kicks and creative Taekwon-Do photos. Good luck
