What a night! 🌟 Last night the Agivey CC crew took to The Brown Trout for our club dinner. The food was absolutely spot on, and the craic was ninety! A massive thank you to everyone who came out—we truly have the best bunch of people 💙🩷

We also handed out some well-deserved awards to celebrate the legendary moments of the year:

* **Dismount of the Year:** A painful tie between Emma and Richard 🤕

* **Noisiest Club Member:** Another tie, this time between the inseparable volume control of Mags and Catriona 🙉

* **Navigator of the Year:** Shane, for successfully guiding us out and tackling those hills 🗻

* **Furthest Travelled:** Errol, who took the song literally and cycled all the way to Tipperary! 🚲

* **Best All-Rounder:** Gillian, who always shows up, gives 100%, and embodies the club spirit 🙌

* **Bike Dismantler of the Year** Donal, whose bike spends way more time at the mechanics than he does actually riding it! 🔧🚲

* **Content Creator of the Year:** Arlene, who is always completely on the ball with the media creation 📸🤳

* **Best Organiser:** Betty-Anne. She puts an incredible amount of work in behind the scenes, and the club simply wouldn’t run without her! 🏆

What a weekend for our club’s women riders!

A big group of our girls headed to Fermanagh for Big Day Out, having an absolute blast tackling the road, gravel, and MTB.

Massive congratulations to Gillian, who took on the grueling challenge. She smashed out over 70 miles alongside Darren, pedaling straight into the small hours of the morning to raise vital awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. Amazing effort, Gillian!

The action didn’t stop there. On Sunday,
Catriona traveled down to Fermoy for Round 4 of the She did the club proud yet again, digging deep to take a fantastic 2nd place in the Women’s Senior 2 category! 🥈

Brilliant riding all round, ladies! 👏👏

The great weather took a damp turn for the weekend, but it didn’t slow us down! 🌧️ We packed the week with Tuesday coaching with and our Thursday evening XC. Sara hit the trails with .factor on Saturday, while Sunday was a split roster—local XC and MTB laps for some, Ticknock for Emma, and an outing in North Down with the gang for others! 🤘

In other news this week....Arlene’s now a full roadie convert, completing the Tour of Connemara 💪 Audrey’s trying the gravel in Menorca, Emma’s in Coolaney, and the rest of us stayed local with road and Mtb spins going on.

What a weekend at Round 3 of the at Dunmore Mountain! ⛰️
The action kicked off on Saturday afternoon with the E-bike race. We had 4 riders on the line, with Barry securing a fantastic 2nd place 🥈 Richard a 3rd 🥉 and Sara taking a joint 1st 🥇!
On Sunday, our women’s squad set the pace across two categories:
Senior 2 Women: Catriona took an impressive 2nd place 🥈, with Racheal putting in a brilliant performance.
Senior 3 Women: A spectacular 1-2 finish for the club, with Karen taking 1st 🥇 and Gillian crossing the line in 2nd 🥈!
Next up were the men, with Shane, Donal, Darren, and Peter putting in a massive shift in a highly competitive Senior 4 Men category 💪.
Huge congratulations to everyone who raced. You did the club proud! 💙🩷

Girls’ participation in sport often drops as they get older.
This is why creating supportive, welcoming environments matters.

This girls-only MTB session at Gortin Glen Forest Park is designed to give girls the chance to ride together, build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy mountain biking in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.

Led by experienced coaches, the session will focus on progression, confidence, and enjoyment on the trails, whether riders are completely new to MTB or already riding regularly.

What an incredible weekend for the team at the !

From high-speed enduro stages to tactical XC racing, the club was out in force.

The weekend kicked off with mint trail conditions. We had a massive lineup across all categories:

• Full Enduro: Barry put in a solid shift against a tough field.
• Sport Enduro: Sara, Glenn, Donal, and Keith represented the club well.
• Intro Category: Great to see Áine, Gillian, Rebecca, and Emma getting stuck into the racing scene.

The Podium Highlights:
• Sara: 1st Place (Women’s E-bike) 🥇
• Glenn: 2nd Place (Men’s Masters) 🥈

Sunday: Irish XC NPS Round 2

The momentum carried straight into Sunday for the Cross Country national points series. With perfect weather overhead, Catriona, Gillian, and Rachael took to the start line.

The Results:
• Catriona: 3rd place (Senior 2 Women) 🥉
• Rachael: 1st place (Senior 3 Women) 🥇
• Gillian: 2nd place (Senior 3 Women) 🥈

A massive well done to everyone who raced and a huge thank you to those who came down to support us. Shoutout to for the continued coaching and race prep.

We had an absolute blast and even met a few legends! We can’t wait for next year!
