Lisburn Rangers 2017s vs Lower Maze 2017s
A tough game for the boys against a very good Lower Maze side, who tested the boys right from the off.
One thing we know about this group of boys is they keep fighting and working till the end and more. They kept trying to play and work for each other, but it was one of those evenings where nothing came off. And on a big pitch on which they'd not played before, it was difficult to get accustomed to it. However, this is a learning curve. Shout out to Darragh and Jayden, both of whom made their debuts tonight and competed well.
The never-give-up attitude was further epitomised by Bobby in nets, who pulled out some outstanding saves, bettered only by debutant Darragh, who put in a very strong defensive performance, earning himself the Player Of The Match award.
