🇬🇧✨ HISTORY IN THE MAKING FOR SOLEY! ✨🇬🇧

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Soley Laverty has been selected to represent Great Britain at her first ever international competition! 🤩🤸‍♀️

In October, Soley will travel to Dresden, Germany, where she will compete as part of the Great Britain team in a fantastic four-way international against Germany, France and Switzerland. 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇫🇷🇨🇭

This is a huge milestone in Soley’s gymnastics journey and an incredible opportunity to gain valuable international experience, compete alongside some of the best gymnasts in Europe and continue developing on the international stage. 🌟

From being selected for the British Gymnastics Development Squad, to now earning her first Great Britain international selection — Soley’s progress over the past year has been incredible to watch. We are so proud of the hard work, determination and resilience that has brought her to this point. ❤️🖤

And there is an extra special element to this selection for Team Salto, with our Head Coach David also selected as one of the Great Britain coaches for the event! 🇬🇧👏 A very proud moment for everyone involved and a fantastic opportunity for both Soley and our programme.

✨ Another fantastic GB Development Camp for Soley! ✨

Soley had a brilliant time at her 2nd GB Development Camp, with a huge focus on quality basics, refining details and pushing her upgrades as we head into an exciting competition season. 🤸‍♀️🔥

We were particularly proud to see Soley working through her new Bar routine, including her upgraded Jaeger and dismount, alongside some fantastic quality work throughout the camp. 💪✨

A brilliant experience, lots of progress and another important step forward in Soley’s development. We’re incredibly proud of the work she continues to put in. A massive thank you to all the GB National coaches for their time and effort throughout the week!

Meet the incredible faces behind the magic at Salto! 🌟

⚜️ Our coaching team brings an amazing mix of talent, dedication, and unique personal stories to the gym every single day.

Here are some fun and inspiring facts about a few of our phenomenal coaches:

✨A true self-taught gymnast who never had a coach of his own growing up! He started volunteering at age 17 after just six months in the sport, and today he leads Salto to winnings.

✨When this coach is not guiding our gymnasts to success, he has represented Great Britain in powerlifting and is kept busy at home by his dog, Boris, and cat, Betty!

✨Inspired initially by watching gymnastics on TV as a child, she got involved when her own children started taking classes. Outside the gym, you can often find her tending her garden or helping out on the farm!

✨A former competitive gymnast who represented Northern Ireland, our coach is a busy mom of three and has a beloved dog named Ted.

✨Juggling coaching with her studies, she is currently studying Law at Queen's University Belfast and loves sloths and pandas!

✨Bringing a wealth of expertise to the floor, our other coach holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science.

✨A talented regional judge who is still actively training and competing, this girl loves passing her lifelong passion for the sport onto the next generation.

We are so lucky to have such a passionate, accomplished, and diverse team shaping and inspiring our gymnasts inside and outside the gym! 💪🤸‍♀️✨
