Well done to our Hilden 3 Ladies team tonight, who played a rink from Gilnahirk Bowling Club in the Belfast Evening Ladies League and secured the win on the final end! 👏💚

A special shoutout goes to our youngest member, Ruby McKibben, on achieving her first victory for the club — plenty more to come! ⭐

Also, a big thank you from the Greenkeeper to the ladies for putting the mats down to protect the green. We try not to use them when conditions allow, however every step has to be taken to ensure the longevity of the playing surface. 🌱

While most of our members enjoy a well-earned rest after yesterday’s senior team games, our dedicated greenkeepers are out setting up the sprinkler system on what is expected to be the hottest day of the year so far.

With temperatures soaring, their hard work behind the scenes helps ensure the green remains in top condition and playing at its best for everyone throughout the season.

A big thank you to all those who help keep the club looking and playing so well! ☀️💧🌱

Today’s results for Hilden BC 💚

Hilden A were narrowly defeated 5–2 away to Cliftonville, with some strong rink performances and plenty of positives to take from the match. Hilden B also battled hard at home against a strong Saintfield side in a 5.5–1.5 result.

A big thank you to Cliftonville Bowling Club for their warm hospitality today, and to Saintfield Bowling Club for a competitive match played in great spirit. Best of luck to both clubs for the rest of the season 👏

What an afternoon of IBA Cup bowls 🔥

Two matches, just 3 shots separating all four teams, and one of them coming right down to the very last bowl.

Hilden A edged past Cliftonville 63-62 in a dramatic contest, with a fantastic team performance and contributions right across the side proving the difference.

Hilden B were also involved in a fiercely competitive match, narrowly losing out to Comber 73-71 after a determined display and a huge effort from everyone involved.

A real credit to the teamwork, fight and spirit shown throughout the afternoon 👏💚

👏 Another busy day for both our A and B Teams on the green!

🤝 Our B Team travelled to Downpatrick and, although it was a tough 7-0 result, there were still plenty of good ends and effort shown throughout. Thanks to Downpatrick for their hospitality.

🔥 Our A Team continued their winning ways with another strong performance, securing an excellent 5.5 – 1.5 victory against Shaftesbury after a solid all-round team display.

👏 Well done to all players and supporters for their continued support and commitment to the club!

👏 Well done to both of our A and B Teams today on two competitive and enjoyable matches!

Our B Team may not have got the result they were hoping for, but it was a great game played in good spirit with our friends from Balmoral Bowling Club 🤝 Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a friendly and sporting occasion.

🔥 A fantastic performance as well from our A Team, playing away from home to Old Bleach Bowling Club and winning 3 of the 4 rinks to secure an excellent overall draw. A strong team effort and a result to be proud of!

Well done to the Hilden Ladies on continuing their winning form! 2 from 2 and only 2 points behind CI - Knock!

🚨 NIWPGL Junior League Division 1 – Week 2 Update 🚨

After two weeks of action, the table is already starting to take shape with some standout performances across the division 👏🏻🍀

CI Knock Bowling Club lead the way at the top after making it two wins from two, collecting the maximum 10 points and building an impressive +33 shot difference.

Close behind are Hilden Bowling Club who also remain unbeaten with two victories from two and continue to look like serious contenders early in the season.

Belfast and Ballywalter sit level on 6 points after mixed starts, while Ulster Transport J1 remain firmly in the hunt with 5.5 points and a strong shot difference.

Defending champions Comber picked up an important win to get their campaign moving, while Magheradroll and Falls J1 are also on the board after competitive opening weeks.

At the other end, Larne J1 and Downpatrick will both be eager to bounce back and get points on the board in the coming fixtures.

Still plenty of bowls left to play, but the race for the title is already heating up 🔥🍀
