Yoga on Mondays ❤️

Monday morning for the mamas…

6, 13, 20 and 27 March.
Active Dansa, Chapel Hill Lisburn 9:30am

This post drop off class is an incredible way to begin the week. Mondays are manic (thanks Bangles, we know)… as mums, we have a never ending to-do list and I know it feels good on Monday to dive in to that as soon as there is space to do so!

But I also know that taking care of everyone else (and the house and the job and and and) and not giving myself time and space to recharge/destress leads burnout and an even more chaotic week…

So shift it. Come to practice. Give it a try.

For 4 weeks in March, Mondays 9:30-10:30am find a new way to begin the week.

Take time for yourself to breathe, to stretch, to sweat. Join the other amazing mamas doing the same thing and find the connection and community that we miss from maternity leave days…

This class is a great opportunity for women to come along and have a morning full of low-impact fitness and socialisation.

We worked on toning glutes, arms, abs and pelvic floor in this mornings class 💪

We have designed a fitness class to encourage women of all ages to help develop physical fitness, tone muscles, build stamina and to feel confident!
Active Mama classes give you the freedom to bring your little one along with you or you can come alone, it's completely up to you.
Active Mama classes are morning classes designed to enhance your fitness during a low-impact dance exercise class.
Elements include cardiovascular, strength and mobility training adapted to your individual needs.

Yoga in the morning at 9.30am

Morning practice! Greet the day with me on the mat…

I have found that this post school drop off, early morning (but not too early so I’m not a completely stiff as a board) is such an incredible time to move…

My stretched out, strengthened body combined with head space and a reinvigorated heart makes my day better… I’m kinder to myself and others, slower to snap at my kids, more decisive and productive, and mostly, more present in everything which for me is always the practice… Being. Breathing.

I’m on the mat at this time 3 times a week!

Mondays 9:30am in 3 week blocks

Thursdays 9:45am

Fridays 9:45am south

And although it’s not post drop off I’m also on the mat Saturday mornings 9am from my home to yours with .yoga online

Mums & little ones are invited to join us on a Thursday morning for a sweaty workout, helping to strengthen and tone those muscles!

PREGNANCY YOGA

This class includes breathing techniques, deep relaxation, and physical yoga practice- both to make pregnancy more enjoyable and to help build strength and stamina for birth as well as bonding between you and your little baby.

You need to be 12-14 weeks pregnant to begin class and it's good to start early if you can to help your body build muscle memory and confidence as your bump and baby grow. Don't worry if you can't start until later, you will still gain lots of benefits from attending class at any stage! And please don't worry if you've never done yoga- a lot of people start yoga in pregnancy as it has many benefits for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Class is booked in specific dates of 3. If you can make all 3 classes it’s £25, or 2 for £18, or 1 for £10.

Suitable for all levels.
This class will "go with the flow" in that you can expect something different each week. That said, Jessica's classes have a definite structure and rhythm that you will come to know- if you don't already! Jessica loves familiarity as it helps her in the practice to better experience the flow as an energetic moving meditation. Mostly, we practice Being Present. Doing our best to get our minds, bodies, and hearts all doing and being the same thing at the same time, always led by the breath.

This class is a part of Active Mama, but you don’t need to be a mama to come to class and we will keep this hour of practice for adults only.
