❤️17s Friendly vs. Lisburn Ladies @ Laurelhill🖤

After a busy week of football, the girls wrapped it up with another great 7-aside match! 👏🏻

We are still getting used to the new space and positioning, which meant plenty of defending today. But above all else, *this team never gives up!* 💪🏻

Heads didn't drop, our goalkeepers reset and went again after every shot, and once we settled, we scored some great worked goals! It was amazing to see the hard work pay off.

Congratulations to Layla. After only a couple of weeks with us, she is getting stuck in and driving forward with total confidence. Keep it up, Layla! ⭐

❤️🖤 2015 Mums vs Girls match 🖤❤️

It was a surprisingly even contest, packed with goals, referee decisions, wooping, handballs, a few tears and lots of red faces. The mums clearly pumped up for the occasion missed the kick off debating positions but raced into an early lead thanks to two goals from Juliet, before the girls fought back to edge ahead by half-time.

There were so many goals by the end that we lost track of the score especially with the offsides and balls over the line being debated.

Highlights included Lucy scoring directly from a corner and confidently dispatching a penalty.

The mums let’s face it had Isaac to thank for helping bring things back level towards the end, but with only a few minutes remaining Siena popped up with the winner to secure victory and bragging rights for the girls until next time.

Well done to everybody who took part. A special congratulations to ⭐️Juliet⭐️, who was voted Mummy of the Match by the girls. 🍾🔴⚫️⚽️

❤️🖤17s Friendly Vs Lisburn Rangers 🖤❤️

Thankfully the rain stayed off long enough for the girls to get a good run out on the big pitch tonight.

It's a massive step up from the 5 aside cages and the introduction of positions and having discipline not to all run after the ball is all new but they handled it well. 👏🏻

POTM went to Olivia who worked her socks off up and down the pitch tonight! 🥵
