Today, our Senior Prefects attended leadership training at the Lisburn Scouts Woodland Centre. They learned how to safely lead a range of exciting activities, including archery, tomahawk throwing, and fire lighting.
We can’t wait to see them put their new skills into action as they help lead our Year 8 students through these activities next Tuesday and Wednesday, alongside plenty of other fun team-building challenges.

Grab your team, test your aim, sharpen your skills and take on a day of woodland challenges, friendly competition and plenty of fun! But remember… every throw counts! 👀

🏕️ THE CHALLENGE
Teams are made up of 3 Scouts or 3 Explorers.
💰 £10 per team
👥 Maximum of 3 teams per Group

You’ll need accuracy, concentration, teamwork and a steady hand to climb your way to the top. Can your team hit the target and handle the pressure?

⏰ COMPETITION TIME SLOTS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

10:00am – 11:00am 🪓
Get your first throws in and show us what you’ve got!

11:00am – 12:00 noon 🎯
The competition heats up — accuracy is everything!

12:00 noon – 1:00pm 🏹
Keep your focus and rack up those points.

1:00pm – 2:00pm 🔥
Halfway through the challenge — can your team stay on target?

2:00pm – 3:00pm 💪
The pressure is on! Every throw could make the difference.

3:00pm – 4:00pm 🏆
Final throws, final chances and the race for glory!

So, who will have the sharpest aim? Who will keep their cool? And which Scout and Explorer Group will take home the bragging rights?

The Woodland Maintenance team haven’t stopped this week! A great set of new steps down to our new bridge , next to our fruit orchard which our young scouts and explorers planted a few years ago. Special thanks this week to Jonny, Ricky , Peter and Andy and Caolin. Awesome work gents!
