Today I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Penelope and her family! She is a lovely little lady who will be receiving a new wheelchair (she has decreed it shall be pink, her favourite colour!). Funds we have raised went towards Penelope's chair, which was all sorted by our supported charity, the Peter Aliss Masters.

Gorgeous day for our annual community match at Hockley. Even better, is that Hantspol won. But even more satisfying is the fact our Captain was nominated for the 'jacket of shame' for striking a poor innocent club member with a errant shot (note; he was fine!)

Some sad news today as I have heard that Paul Stallard has passed away. Paul was a huge driving force for Hampshire Police golf for many, many years and was also partly responsible for my first introduction to it via the Wi******er Society.
He will be sadly missed.

A good turn out of 56 players for the 2023 Summer Open and Captains Day at Lee on the Solent GC. Excellent weather conditions on the day.

Some excellent scoring seen with Nickie M continuing her top form of the last year with an excellent 44pts to win!

She was followed in the prizes by Andy P, Terry B and Colin P.

The 9 hole team event was won by Nickie M with her husband Paul M, Alistair C and Terry M with a 66 point score.

Jamie B won the raffle for the doz Titleist balls.

Only five 2's scored all day including one by the organiser after what onlookers described as a simply astounding tee shot on 9th....😁

Look out for details for this year's Force Championships at Old Thorns on 28th September...

Stop press! The 2023 winning ways of team Hants goes on! Today at the PSUK South East Regional Championships, Ben J won best individual gross score, Laurie P put local knowledge to good use to win the individual Nett score, Hampshire A, consisting of Captain Colin G, Ben J, Matt M, Laurie P and Richard B won the Team Stableford event and Nickie M took on the tough 8th at Stoneham to win the nearest the pin prize!
Well done all! We have either won or been in the prizes at every significant event this year!

I am auctioning a spiffing 4 ball voucher for Sunningdale! 100% proceeds to our supported charity, the Peter Alliss Masters!

Help us provide a power wheel chair to a disabled child, like we did for Beau (pictured below).

A 4 ball at Sunningdale would normally cost you £1300! So message me a bid! Get your pals together and pm me here...be aware, there is a reserve, but send me a number! Be quick though as this will go fast! Anyone can bid!

So, team Hampshire are on it; this year we have won the Ello Ello Ello Cup, the Tri Force Cup, Nickie M won her section at the PSUK Ladies Nationals and with some of our best up at the PSUK mens scratch Nationals and the PSUK Regionals this month, we are hoping for more silverware coming home! We are also up at the Old Bill Trophy next week, the first time the match against Met and Surrey has been played since lord knows when!

Word has reached me that Team Hampshire excelled at Woburn today to retain the Ello Ello Ello cup!

Apparently by some margin too!

This solves Mr Secretary's problem of forgetting to have the trophy engraved after our win last year!

Well done Team!

Surrey host next March. Qualification via the 2023 Force Championship at Old Thorns in September.
