Fighting this weekend on the Ronin Fighting Championship Stage in the Electric, sold out venue at BCot we have Tony Coluccia and Nathan Ayres.

Two local Bordon Residents stepping into the Ring under Muaythai and Boxing Rule Sets.

Coluccia faces a tough International Opponent in a pro-am Muaythai Fight.

Ayres makes his debut under Boxing Rules against a strong Domestic opponent.

Both have been putting in weeks and weeks of training and are coming prepared to come home with the Wins.

Today, March 17th, marks an important moment in Muay Thai history, recognised as Nai Khanom Tom Day.

In 1774, following the fall of the Ayutthaya Kingdom during the Burmese invasion, Nai Khanom Tom was taken prisoner and later chosen to represent Siam in a test against Burmese fighters.

After performing the Wai Kru, a ritual mistaken for black magic, he stepped into the ring and defeated the Burmese champion by knockout, then went on to overcome nine more opponents one after the other.

Impressed by his performance, the king granted him freedom that same day, marking a defining moment in the legacy of Muay Thai.

So what better way to celebrate than get to the gym today:
