🏋🏼♀️The Best Pre-Workout Fuel Doesn’t Need to Be Complicated 🏋🏼♀️
If you’re training first thing in the morning or rushing to a class after work, you don’t need a huge meal beforehand. In fact, something light and easy to digest often works best. Aim to eat them 30-60 minutes prior to your workout 💪🏻
These are our favourite pre-workout options:
🍌 Banana
🍯 Rice cakes with peanut butter & honey
🌴 Medjool dates
🥜 Banana with peanut butter
🍞 Toast with honey or jam
🥤 Small fruit smoothie
These quick-digesting carbohydrates give your body the energy it needs to train without leaving you feeling heavy or uncomfortable.
Then, once you’ve finished your workout, that’s the perfect time to refuel properly with:
🥚 Eggs on toast
🥣 Greek yoghurt, fruit & granola
🍗 Chicken, rice & vegetables
🥔 A balanced meal containing protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats
Fuel before. Recover after.
