Have you ever spent the time just perfecting hitting the ball out of the centre of the club face?

Yet another great shot to have mastered, being able to hit right out the centre of the club gives you the most transfer of power, making the ball go straighter and further.

The system has some great features to help you practice this. Take a look at the heatmap over a series of shots, the impact location on the screen and the live camera too.

Ever wondered what coaching might look like here at Pivot Golf? Take a look at a session between Pivot Golf owner and coach Rob Harris and Ollie, who has been working with him for a couple of weeks now, and seen significant improvement in his game already.

Rob is tailoring the coaching to Ollie’s tendencies, adjusting certain aspects of his swing, as well as working on his overall relationship with the game.

Another important shot to have in your skill set! It can help you navigate courses and avoid obstacles. So come into the simulators to practice, gathering data that you can actually take action from, then put it into practice back out on the course.

Rob Harris: Owner and Coach here at Pivot Golf.

Rob has been playing golf professionally for 19 years, playing tournaments all over the world and working with some of the best coaches and players.

He brings a massive amount of practical, real world experience to being a coach as he is still playing professional tournaments in his career. And Rob’s coaching extends beyond the studio, working with students on and off the course to work with them as they improve.

Working with everyone from beginners to pros, kids or lady golfers, he coaches using real world experience as well as knowledge and theory.

This week we are talking you through a second tee shot, when you’ve got to move the ball as far down the fairway as possible, to get the ball back into play.

Sure you’ve got options when it comes to clubs, but having a signature ‘second tee’ shot in the bag will give you a much better chance of getting the ball where you want it to go.

Coaching sessions are open at Pivot Golf with two internal coaches available to book, but you can also just book in for a session and ask us about how to work on this particular aspect of your game too.
