It’s been an incredibly busy few months for everyone here at Champions Flat Track School, whilst we organised and ran the ACU British Flat Track Championship and we couldn’t be prouder of what has been achieved.

One of the best things for us has been seeing so many familiar faces from CFTS out there on the start line. From riders who’ve spent countless practice nights going round our track, to youngsters coming through and those who simply can’t get enough of riding sideways!

Yesterday at Buxton brought the championship to a close and what a day of racing it was.

A massive congratulations to all of the 2026 champions, podium finishers and every single rider who took part throughout the season.
👏🏆

And a huge thank you to all the families, friends, supporters, volunteers and everyone else who has played a part along the way.

The 2026 ACU championship might be over…
But there’s plenty more flat track to come!

There’s a fair bit of work that goes on before anyone gets to have the fun bit! 😄

The track gets graded, the moisture worked into the dirt and then Pete’s out there getting the surface packed down and locked in ready for the riders.

And who needs a fancy track roller when you’ve got Jackie’s old estate car 🤣

It’s one of those jobs most people never see — but it’s all part of getting everything ready for a practice night at Champions Flat Track School.

Then it’s over to the bikes… 🏁

🏁 Practice Night is this Wednesday! 🏁

Looking for some midweek riding? Join us at Champions Flattrack School this Wednesday from 6pm–9pm for an evening of flat track fun!

✅ All ages and abilities welcome
✅ Different track layouts
✅ Bike hire available
⚡ Electric bikes welcome! Riders are welcome to join the appropriate group for their age and ability, just like our petrol bikes.

For our youngest riders (ages 4–7), we also run an early electric bike session from 5pm–7pm – the perfect introduction in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Whether you’re taking your first laps or looking to improve your skills, we’d love to see you on track.

THE NEXT GENERATION!

They might be little… but just look at them go! 🥹

Our youngest riders getting out on track on their electric bikes and doing exactly what it should all be about at this age, riding, learning, building confidence and having FUN.

No pressure, just giving them a safe place to get time on two wheels and enjoy being out on their bikes.

And who knows where those first little laps might eventually lead… 👀

A fresh delivery has landed — ALL SOFTS 👍

If you’ve already ordered tyres, yours have been put aside for you and will be ready whenever you’re able to collect. Just send us a message to arrange collection.

We’ll be at the track this Friday if you’d like to collect from there.

If you haven’t ordered yet and need tyres, get in touch and we’ll get you sorted.

Can’t collect? No problem — postage is available for £20 for up to two tyres

We’ll also be taking tyres with us to:

🏁 Buxton – ACU British Flat Track Championship Final Round
