Kirtan tomorrow… and I’ve been baking! 🙏

A rather large tray of homemade vegan crumble flapjack is ready to be shared after our evening of Kirtan tomorrow.

Because apparently singing together wasn’t quite enough — obviously we need tea and homemade cake too! 😂

If you’ve never experienced Kirtan before, please don’t worry about whether you can sing. It’s not a performance and there’s nothing to get right. It’s simply an opportunity to come together, sing, breathe, connect and enjoy the experience.

🕖 7–9pm

Come as you are. Words are provided, no experience is needed — and now you know there’s flapjack waiting at the end too!

A lovely morning of chair-based yoga at Tealwood Grange 🧘‍♀️

One of the things I feel very strongly about is that yoga should be accessible to everyone — regardless of age, mobility, fitness or previous experience.

Our Thursday morning sessions at Tealwood Grange are entirely chair-based, with gentle movement, breathing and relaxation in a friendly, supportive setting.

And the sessions are open to non-residents too.

So if you have a parent, grandparent, friend or relative who would benefit from gentle movement, some company and a little time dedicated to their wellbeing, they would be very welcome to join us.

📍 Tealwood Grange Care Home, Lincoln, LN5 9QS
🕤 Thursday mornings, 9:30–11:30am

And yes… there’s tea and biscuits afterwards too! ☕️

Please message me if you’d like to know more or would like to come along. Tealwood Grange Care Home

Have you ever tried Kirtan? 🕉️

It’s honestly one of my favourite parts of yoga practice — and you absolutely do not need to be able to sing!

Kirtan is about coming together, lifting our voices, sharing simple songs and chants and enjoying that wonderful feeling of being part of something together. There’s no performance and no pressure. You can sing loudly, quietly, play an instrument if there’s one to hand, or simply soak up the atmosphere.

We had quite a few complete beginners at our last Kirtan and they loved it, so if you’re curious, come and give it a try.

This Friday | 7–9pm
Peace Place People Yoga & Meditation Studio, Lincoln

Pay what you can comfortably afford: £15 / £20 / £25

And afterwards we’ll have tea and homemade sweet treats together before heading home.

Just DM me to let me know you’re coming and you can pay on the night.

Come as you are. No singing voice required. 🙏

Happy 1st Birthday to Peace Place People! It’s a year and a day since I opened the doors and taught the first class in our beautiful studio. I’ve been overjoyed at the love and support I have received and am so proud of the beautiful community we’re creating here.
Yoga is not about the shapes we make with our bodies. At our studio we look at weaving yoga into our whole lives and knowing ourselves better physically, mentally and emotionally. Yes we do physical yoga postures, but there’s so much more to our practice such as breath, meditation, mantra, Kirtan, yoga nidra, and lots of cups of tea and cakes too. Everyone welcome, all ages, all bodies. Term starts this week. Book / Get in touch via link in bio, I’d love to teach you. Sam 🕉️🙏

Heart-Based Living Workshop Day

Slow down. Breathe. Create. Reconnect.

Join yoga teacher Sam Burlton and artist & workshop facilitator Robert Lackerstein for a nourishing day of creativity, reflection and gentle wellbeing at the beautiful Blossom Farm Retreat.

This is not an art class, a yoga class or a meditation retreat.

It is an invitation to spend a day reconnecting with yourself.

Through Robert’s inspiring artwork and storytelling, you’ll explore themes such as stillness, self-worth, authenticity, inner child and living from the heart. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to a group artwork in a relaxed, supportive environment—no artistic experience or talent is needed. There is absolutely no pressure to produce anything “good”; the emphasis is simply on enjoying the creative process.

Throughout the day Sam will guide a series of simple, accessible wellbeing practices designed to calm the nervous system and help you reconnect with yourself. Together we’ll explore gentle mindful movement, easy breathwork, meditation and practical techniques that you can continue using long after the retreat has finished.

There will be time to wander the gardens, enjoy meaningful conversation, reflect quietly if you choose, and savour a delicious home-cooked lunch prepared by Blossom Farm Retreat.

Whether you arrive feeling busy, overwhelmed or simply in need of a day for yourself, you’ll leave with practical tools, fresh perspectives and a renewed sense of calm, connection and hope.

The day includes:
