Fresh from our visit to Little Bentley to play at Kent Target tournament, we are back training at Dart Polo Academy this Saturday.

As always, if your new to polocrosse you can book a free training session. If you dont have your own horse and still would like to have a go at this incredible sport we can arrange horse hire for £55.

The horses are experienced and have all played Polocrosse with us, so you can focus on learning stick and ball skills.

Big shout out to Kent Target Polocrosse Club for putting on a other standout tournament this weekend, which we always look forward to attending.

From a personal note for Vikings, we enjoyed some very competitive and close fought matches with you over the weekend in Junior's and A grade.

And the light show Mick organised Saturday night to honour Thor, Viking god of thunder was a nice touch.

Fingers crossed this gains the momentum needed and leads to a new polocrosse helmet, anything that improves player safety is a good thing.

Great work Team Desai, you will have lots of support in the UK.

Team Desai was busy at work this afternoon despite the 96 degree weather, testing out the line of helmets from Back on Track USA. Amazing customer service and willingness to work with us in our quest to develop a better and safer polocrosse helmet. Step 1 includes trialing different models based on different head shapes and ensuring a proper fit and overall comfort level. From here we’ll move to further talks in designing 2-3 models of Polocrosse specific helmets to meet the various head shapes (yes, in white color and with polox specific modifications) in our mission to improve safety standards in the sport that we all love. Yes we’ll need worldwide backing (that’s where YOU come in), but based off a few chats with some big names across the globe, this is a must, and with the help of our community, together we can start to take a stand and help make a difference.

A massive shoutout and thanks to Back on Track for immediately jumping on board and asking how they can help….impressive response and support from an already top notch company!

Be honest... when was the last time you replaced your riding helmet? 🤔

Polocrosse Australia rules require players to wear an approved white riding helmet, but how often do we actually think about the condition of the helmet we're wearing?

Most helmets spend years travelling in floats, sitting in hot cars, getting dropped on the ground and enduring countless carnivals.

💡 Here's something we only recently discovered...

Has anyone heard of or is anyone using a helmet with MIPS technology?

Until yesterday, we hadn't heard much about it either, but it appears MIPS has been used in other sports for several years and is now available in some equestrian helmets.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is designed to help reduce rotational forces to the brain during angled impacts by allowing the helmet to move slightly relative to the head during a fall.

We're not promoting any particular brand — we're simply curious about what riders know and what they're using.

💬 A few questions:

🔹 Have you ever replaced a helmet after a fall or significant knock?

🔹 Have you heard of MIPS before today?

Such a great weekend, thank you Warwick Polocrosse UK for being amazing hosts.

Being able to put out full A and B grade teams, along with sections in C grade, OJ'S, NJ'S and 2 PJ'S was so pleasing as a new club.

Players and horse's gave everything over the 2 day's and we are incredibly proud of them all.

Sadly the results didn't go our way, but lots of positives to take away.

We may have seen some of this hoard at the last tournament 😍

We have been stocking up on equipment the last few weeks with orders arriving from Bombers Equestrian Equipment , Bennett Polocrosse Rackets and SC Polocrosse Equipment and we finally got round to updating the online shop! So if you need any equipment hopefully you should now be able to find it online! We ship equipment all over Europe.
