I am a certified Guild of Dog Trainers Professional Dog Training Instructor and a member of The International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I am currently completing a further advanced course on canine behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies. My training is de

livered through private, one-to-one coaching programmes, tailored specifically to you, your dog and the challenges you are facing. Sessions take place in your home, where both you and your dog can learn in a focused, distraction-free environment, and outdoors in carefully selected locations for loose lead walking, recall, confidence building, engagement work, play and real-world training. I do not offer single training sessions. Lasting behavioural change requires consistency, guidance and ongoing support. My programmes are designed for committed owners who are serious about improving their dog's behaviour and strengthening the relationship they share. As an experienced dog trainer, public speaker and holder of a PhD from the University of Melbourne, I bring a thoughtful, empathetic, analytical, and highly individual approach to every client I work with. No two dogs are the same, which is why every programme is tailored to the specific needs of both dog and owner. Many of my clients come to me after months, or even years, of frustration, uncertainty and conflicting advice. Through personalised coaching, practical training and clear guidance, I help owners develop the skills, confidence and understanding needed to achieve meaningful, lasting results. The testimonials and reviews I have received speak not only to improvements in behaviour, but to the profound impact that better communication, greater confidence and a calmer relationship can have on both owner and dog. If you are ready to make real progress and would like to discuss your dog's behaviour challenges, please send me a direct message to arrange a complimentary consultation call.

Does your small dog hate the hoover? Maple the 1 yr old Cockapoo sure did! She also hated the grooming brush on her head and face, and growled and lunged when she saw another dog. We worked on the hoover horror this evening and had a lot of fun doing it! Mapleโ€™s parents, Ellie and Jacob are putting in a great shift and really getting her motivated and joyful through play and then we build in the things she finds hard. Small dogs often need to grow confidence and I can help you do that - drop a pm or book a free call on the link in my bio.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Two dogs. One household. Twice the challenge... but twice the reward when things start to click and life gets easier.

Over the past year, I've been working with a number of two dog households, often with two adolescent dogs, who've developed a range of behaviours that were making daily life stressful and exhausting.

๐Ÿšช Territorial barking at the front door

๐Ÿ• Reactivity on walks

๐Ÿฆฎ Pulling on the lead

๐Ÿงน Hoover attacks (see video with Bully X duo!)

๐Ÿ  Over-excitement and lack of boundaries in the home

Like many, these owners had tried their best but felt overwhelmed by conflicting advice and confused by social media tips. The reality is that every dog is different, and every household is different too.

That's why my training takes place where life actually happens: in your home, on your walks, and in your neighbourhood.

Whether you have a Bully mix, a Poodle, a Mini-Dachshund, a Cockapoo, or anything in between, my 1-1 coaching is tailored to your dog's personality, your goals, and the challenges you're facing right now.

Alongside in-person sessions, my clients receive Google Meet calls, daily WhatsApp support for questions and troubleshooting, plus short training videos to help keep progress moving between sessions.

Many owners tell me this level of support feels far more effective than group classes, board-and-train programmes, or relying on social media advice that often leaves them more confused than when they started.

If you're living with a troublesome teenage dog and every day feels like a battle of barking, pulling, reactivity, or chaos, please know there is a way forward.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.Book a free call and let's talk through what's going on.

A new client who had a very negative experience of a puppy training class is delighted and relieved to find her dog is learning fast and she is seeing great results after just two sessions and home practice in 1 week! This can happen for you too - you may have tried training before that didn't work out - but don't let it stop you trying again! You haven't met me yet!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’ช

Dog owners who have been disappointed with training tried previously, often wonder, 'Can it be any different?', 'Is my dog untrainable?', or 'Will it be worth the money - will we see results?' Fair enough. I received the message below tonight - these are the results after just one week!๐Ÿ˜„

If you've been struggling, feeling fed-up and frustrated - what are you waiting for? If you would rather be crying happy tears than tearing your hair out in frustration - drop me a dm or book a free assessment call via the link in my bio. I can get things on track with you and your dog too! See pics of some current client dogs below!๐Ÿ˜

In our first session, we worked on some impulse control at doorways and started loose lead walking practice in the garden, rather than outside - where you try and do it and fail due to all the distractions!๐Ÿ˜œ

Making training fun for the dog is my core aim, so we got busy with tug play, which Bonnie adores! Adolescence doesnโ€™t have to become chaos - if your teen dog is making walks stressful, click the link in my bio and book a free call.

Letโ€™s talk about your dog and see how you can get things on track.๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘

Over the past year, around 80% of the dogs I have worked with have been between six months and two years old. Not puppies anymore, but not quite fully grown either. Smack in the middle of the phase that nobody really warns you about โ€“ teenage tearaways โ€“ aka, adolescence.

It is by far the most common reason owners reach out to me, and the most common reason people start wondering whether they have somehow failed their dog. The SIT command that used to work has vanished. The wild jumping around is back and leash manners have gone out the window. And the young dog who seemed to be doing well a few months ago now tests your boundaries and your patience every day.

You have not failed. Your dog's brain is under construction, and that changes everything about how you need to approach training right now. It does get better. But how you handle this period makes a real difference to what comes next. Click the link in the first comment to read more about adolescent dogs and book a call with me if you're at your wits end!๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

PS. Dog in the pic is Bowser โ€“ a Tearaway legend who drove his living mother mad with his wild antics until we started training and he learned some new skills. See vids below for his recall, down and fetch!

๐Ÿพ "She's reacting because she's worried, not because she's naughty."

When Ellie and Jacob contacted me about their 1-year-old Cockapoo, Maple, they were struggling with barking, pulling on the lead, reactivity towards other dogs, sensitivity to handling and a fear of the hoover.

What I saw wasn't a stubborn dog.

I saw a young dog lacking confidence.

So instead of simply trying to stop the behaviours, we focused on building confidence through structured guidance, play, engagement exercises and helping Maple learn to navigate the world more calmly.

The results have been fantastic.

On our latest session in a busy area of Lincoln, Maple walked calmly past several dogs without reactingโ€”a huge achievement for a dog who previously struggled from over 20 metres away.

Every adolescent dog is different. That's why there is no one-size-fits-all training programme.

I work with you in your home, your neighbourhood and the environments where your challenges actually happen, providing tailored support, training plans and video guidance between sessions.

If your dog is barking, pulling, reacting, struggling with confidence or making walks stressful, don't wait for them to "grow out of it."
