We’ve been out across the county this season delivering grass pitch support visits as part of our ongoing work to help clubs improve and maintain their playing surfaces 🌱⚽️

Delivered with the Grounds Management Association, these visits provide clubs with tailored, expert guidance based on their specific site conditions and challenges. They also offer valuable time with the dedicated volunteers and grounds teams who play a vital role in sustaining grassroots football week after week.

Recent visits have focused on a range of factors affecting pitch quality, including recovery from challenging weather conditions and longer-term maintenance planning, helping clubs build more resilient playing surfaces for the future.

Women and girls aged 14+ are being invited to complete the Her Voice. Her Game. survey and help influence the future of grassroots football across the county.

🎟️ 🦁 As a thank you for taking part, you'll also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw for the chance to win tickets to see the England National Team in action.

Whether you're a player, coach, referee, volunteer, committee member, spectator or parent, your feedback will help improve the experience of women and girls in football by identifying what's working well and where change is needed.

⏱️ The survey takes around 5 minutes to complete and covers topics including:
⚽ Safety and wellbeing
⚽ Facilities
⚽ Inclusion and support
⚽ Experiences within the game

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead safeguarding delivery, support clubs and volunteers, work with key partners, and drive initiatives that improve behaviour and respect across grassroots football.

That’s why we’re highlighting The FA’s new Female Health Hub, a resource designed to provide trusted advice on important topics including menstrual health, injury support and player wellbeing.

Over the last three months, we've been working with clubs and leagues across the county to help prepare for the introduction of 3v3 football at Under-7 level.

Through seven showcase events, more than 150 young players had the opportunity to experience the format first-hand, while coaches, parents, volunteers and league officials were able to ask questions, share feedback and learn more about the upcoming changes.

The events provided valuable opportunities to see the format in action, hear different perspectives and support clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season.

We're proud to have invested more than £3,000 in 3v3 goals for host clubs as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots football across Lincolnshire.
