is the oldest continually designing naval architecture office in the world. Mylne Yacht Design combines both contemporary technology and classic design methodology. We support a large worldwide congregation of Mylne yacht owners and enthusiasts, as well as encourage the authentic recreation and restoration of original designs under our guidance and scrutiny.

After many months of work, we are delighted to launch the new A. Mylne & Co. website.

Founded by Alfred Mylne in 1896, the company has been responsible for some of the world’s finest sailing yachts, motor yachts and commercial craft. Today, that legacy continues through both historic preservation and new design work.

We are very happy to introduce our fleet for 2026, starting with 'Duncan'.

Duncan (1925), formerly Rosemary III, is an example of a rare cruising design by William Fife III that was drawn with a Bermudan sail plan.
Rosemary III was well raced, attending the 2008 Fife Regatta, and winning her class in the process. She was given an extensive restoration from 2010 to 2014 to return her to the original specification, completed by Butler and Co. in Dartmouth.
It will be a pleasure to see her return to home waters again.
