Wow!! .. this was my intake year at the Royal Victoria Hospital Nursing College in Belfast N Ireland in 1987! 🩺

Great memories. I remember my big plan was to do my training and then travel — apparently if you were Royal-trained, you could go anywhere in the world (or so I was told 🤣).

Well… I didn’t travel too far in the end. Met Trevor, got married, and life took a different path. Funny enough, the travelling only really started when we began Crindle Bespoke — and now you can’t keep me at home! 😂✈️🐎 it’s never to late and I live travelling !! 😘😘

Any other nurses out there train at the Royal, or elsewhere back when it was hospital-based training before university became the norm?

I was Project 2000 — our teaching and practice were research-based, the first of its kind in nursing at the time. Back in the good old days 😜🤣

Out on the wee daily run checking the stock (definitely not on foot 😂).

There’s just something special about seeing them all together, grazing away with the River Foyle in the distance behind them 🌿 what a view !!

✨ A beautiful day with beautiful people ✨

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Alan and Patrice from Inspiring Belfast to Crindle Bespoke through Tourism Northern Ireland. Thank you so much for arranging this visit to ourselves 😊

What a day it turned out to be — the sun came out just for them ☀️ and from the peaceful farm atmosphere to the stunning beach ride, it really was a wee taste of the Crindle Bespoke experience!

Neither Alan nor Patrice had ever been on a horse before, yet by the time we reached the beach they were relaxed, confident and ready for action 🐴✨

What we love most is watching guests slow down, breathe and simply be… taking in the sights, sounds and energy of nature. A chance to relax, restore, revive and re-nurture before heading back to the busy world again.

A truly lovely day filled with laughter, calm moments and wonderful memories.

Thank you again to Tourism NI and Inspiring Belfast, such a real success and such a pleasure to host Alan & Patrice, look forward to the next time ✨✨💛
