2026 we've got you !!

What a fantastic end to 2025 we had at HQ .. I've never seen the gyms more vibrant . There was zero evidence of the " foot being lifted off the gas " .. love that.
Private members in training all over Christmas too.

There is a wonderful culture in HQ that training / fitness / exercise is a wonderful opportunity/ gift .. it's not punishment.

We have clients from 10 to over 80 !! I love that.

The coaches are all busy within their own niche helping absolute beginners, those who've returned after a break away from fitness and also the seasoned trainers who want to push on further.

We do things differently at HQ βœ…

Both the Limavady and Coleraine gyms are PRIVATE training environments. Our clients just prefer it that way and so do we , the coaches. No crowds . No waiting for machines or benches . No egos ....

Our focus is SUPPORTING our clients journey and getting them whatever RESULTS they're seeking .. it's not running down other coaches or gyms ( why has this become such a thing in our industry 😞😞 ) , it's not allowing cliques to form either .

We're fully booked in many cases because this approach WORKS ! We don't need half the town on our books .. quality over quantity does us nicely thank you very much.

So here's where things stand and how YOU can get involved ....

I have just TWO memberships available in the Limavady gym and the Coleraine gym is currently FULL . This is for 7 days a week access to do your own training πŸ˜„

βœ… CLASSES

I take a Sunday morning Bootcamp in the Coleraine gym every other week at 8.30 am .. open to all , members non members. On next Sunday πŸ€™

On opposing Sunday mornings Noel runs a fantastic Circuits class in the Limavady gym , again at 8.30 am . Again , open to all ,, just £10 pay as you go ! That's back in 2 weeks time ( it was on this morning 🌞)

I run a small group PT in the Limavady gym every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.15pm .. strength training , male and females of all levels ,,, remains fully booked , message for waiting list.

It's the 1st of June and its time to get our behinds in gear for the summer β˜€οΈ πŸ˜‰πŸ™‚

It's time to put ourselves first, motivate each other, be consistent with our training whilst having a laugh at the same time 😘

Exercising should not be another chore within your daily/weekly routine, it should be enjoyable, fun, confidence boosting and most of all you will be so proud of yourself after every session as you will give it your all and complete exercises that you would of only dreamed of before.

I have ladies come to me and say,' I have never trained before so please don't expect much from me to start with', and those are the ladies that have taken to training as if they HAVE done it before! And I am super proud of them.

There is no such word as cant! Everyone is capable of training and putting their health first, you just need to take that first big step and you won't ever turn back.

What a beautiful day for getting steps in β˜€οΈ

I’ve been really active today and covered lots of steps… on the golf course ⛳️

Sometimes people think that being fit and active is only within the gym however it’s about so much more. A 45 minute workout is fantastic but that’s only a small part of your day. How active are you for the rest of the day ?

Here’s some tips to increase your steps each day

βœ… walk to work or school instead of taking transport

βœ… take stairs instead of the lift

βœ… park further away within a car park

βœ… consider finding a hobby which involves walking more

Each Monday make a plan to factor in some 30 minute walks throughout the week… you will be amazed how quickly your steps add up 😊

As well as increasing your fitness it’s amazing for your mental health and reducing stress levels.

It doesn't matter what age you are, keeping our bodies fit and healthy is for everyone!

I truely enjoy training a variety of age groups especially people that have never exercised before as there will be no bad habits to move away from. As their training journey progresses so does their technique and their confidence within themselves. It nearly becomes second nature to them.

Coming into a gym is not as daunting as everyone thinks, all of my clients state after their first session, 'I don't know why I was so anxious about coming, I really enjoyed it and cant wait to my next session'. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FEEDBACK 😁πŸ’ͺ

So many women have approached me recently saying they would like to make changes to their life physically and mentally but they feel they are too old to start and don't know the first thing about trying to start their fitness journey! And most of all they are so body conscious they have zero confidence to put themselves out their. Although in the other hand are scared in relation to the possibility of their health dipping due to age and want to do something actively about it!

Ladies, let me tell you a few things!

1️⃣ You are never to old!!!!!
There are ladies training in HQ1 and HQ2 in there 70's and 80's
2️⃣ We all have to start somewhere!
I was in the same situation once upon a time, and I chose to act on it and I have never looked back
3️⃣ Being body conscious and low in confidence!
I PT in a private quiet gym with zero ego's and everyone respects each other. We will work together to meet your goals and introduce a nutrition plan and fitness sessions.
4️⃣Possibility of health dipping!

What a morning 🌞

It's days like this when I wake up and look outside i want to get the trainers on and go for a nice walk to clear my mind!

What people fail to realise, fitness is not just for the body, it is for the mind also.

I have quite a stressful job aside from being a Personal Trainer and the one thing that helps me focus weekly is my training sessions every week. It helps me re place that stress and put it into exercise. As a mum of 3 it also gives me ME time πŸ™ˆ

On the other hand being a PT is an absolute joy, as I get to meet new people, help them reach their goals through my own personal experience and give them nutritional support and diet plans to help reach their goals successfully. Plus the craic is always good, I love a good natter and catch up with my clients πŸ˜†

Fitness was not something I ever thought about when I was younger until about 3 years ago!

And it literally happened out of nowhere when me and my husband were sitting on the sofa one evening and both of us stated how we were so unhappy with how we looked and how we felt about ourselves!

Neither of us wanted to go to a regular gym as we did not feel confident within that environment and within ourselves so we did a bit of research into gyms within our area and came across HQ1 Muscle!

Hand on heart, this was a game changer for both of us and we have never looked back!

Sam Conley was an absolute inspiration and this is why I started to study so I could help people the way Sam helped us and continues to do so!

I am a mother of three beautiful children, I have a very demanding job outside of training and I have had a hysterectomy 2 years ago!

This did not stop me, this made me push even more as far as training is concerned! Because this was about me and for me!

Life is so busy and fast tracked that we forget about ourselves, our own health and wellbeing as we are not just a woman, we are wives, mothers, daughters, a support network for our friends and families, the person that holds everything together!

It's time we started to think about us!

Think about how we want to feel!

Think about how we want to look!

We want to get up every morning and feel good about ourselves and full of energy!

And most of all having time for ourselves in a safe and fun environment!

What a beautiful morning to be ACTIVE and POSITIVE...

Two characteristics that WILL change your life , your health and your body ..

And yet ....

Two characteristics I see lacking more and more every year 😞

βœ… ACTIVE

I ran a daily exercise challenge in my private coaching group last week. It was a huge success ! For some it was 5 mins a day of movement when they would otherwise have done none ,, and guess what ? They loved it ,, AND they moved more as a result . That was just 5 minutes remember πŸ˜‰

βœ… POSITIVE

This is a huge one guys ! Please take note. If you're constantly in a state of Doom and Gloom then nothing is going to work out for you. If your default setting is " poor me " or " I can't " then again ,, brace yourself for ZERO PROGRESS. Add to that your circle β­• who do you surround yourself with ? Are they lifting you up or dragging you down ??

Simple changes make life improving differences.
