Player - Position - Passing
These passing accuracy drills are designed to develop player reactions and passing accuracy based on playing position🎯
Drills such as these are what I believe makes 1:1 training so valuable compared to normal team sessions.
Here you can really take the time to work on specific playing position mechanics, which through repetition, develops individual player confidence🛠📈
In the first clips, Joe is working on movements playing in a number 10 role by moving into the pocket of space in front of defenders and playing passes on the half-turn into forward areas. In wide area crossing drills, Joe is practicing placing accurate crosses into dangerous areas based on the call from a teammate🗣
Marcus playing a holding midfield role, his passing accuracy drills are based on short, sharp box to box movements to create space to retain possession under pressure or link the attack🔗
Chris playing in a centre back position, his passing accuracy drills are based on quick turns to open up his body stance to enable him to play out-balls to his fullback and winger when under pressure💥
The key outcome of these drills is achieving consistency. It’s no secret that the best players are able to consistently find their target pass through repetition of these style of drills🔑
Finish the week strong💪🙌
